What a cruel world it is when a man wishing to BUY the WOMAN he wants with his own money can be considered romantic. I mean, in the context of the world and the story it makes sense and it really was a romantic moment when Lihyaku refused Jinshi’s money, but still… can you imagine if someone could be legitimately purchased and given away as a gift? It creeps me out… … … But I’m still gonna start on a wishlist just in case those days ever return! LOL I swear I’m joking lol

2024-11-10 12:18:39 +0000 UTCThe X's on peoples faces was in A Silent Voice. My interpretation of the X's was the main character's (I don't remember his name) extreme shame of the way he treated the girl. He literally couldn't look anyone in the eye, so all of their faces were represented as X's.
