You will definitely want to have some tissues at hand starting with the next episode. If there is a hidden meaning to the words in the book at the beginning, I'm not smart enough to know what it is. I think you are right, seeing Violet moving forward despite her past has helped those who are also struggling. As for Kyoto Animation. They do a lot of sport and slice of life anime. Some fantasy. It's hard to recommend unless you like that stuff. Sound! Euphonium is a musical slice of life with high school girls. The Free! Dive to the Future series is a slice of life with a competitive high school boys swim team. Amagi Brilliant Park is a fantasy/comedy about reviving a theme park. Miss Koybayashi's Dragon Maid is an ecchi fantasy comedy. Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions is a high school comedy/slice of life. Out of all of the ones I mentioned, I like Sound! Euphonium and Amagi Brilliant Park the most. But I really like slice of life and comedy stuff. I do highly recommend their movie, A Silent Voice. Not sure if you want to react to a movie, though.
