2024-07-12 15:54:15 +0000 UTCOne thing to keep in mind with elves is its been made clear that the demons have been on a campaign to wipe out their species by order of the demon king. As a result elves, until the past 80 years after the defeat of the demon king, have not been able to really have true communities without facing demons hunting them down. On top of their already low need for romance and reproduction they had a very real reason to exist as transient beings to avoid drawing attention to themselves and being hunted down. I also think theres just a low urgency to get together because they can always do it in a few hundred years if they really want to.
