Suggestions!* Important notice-
Added 2019-01-17 03:37:30 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I know some of you newer patrons are impatient with me for not getting to your commissions earlier than you wanted, and for others that have been patient and still waiting after months of payments, I am sorry. I took on way too much out of desperation, thoguht there was more time in the day/months to get it all done, but I'm only one person who's constantly burnt out from life and work.
I need a brief respite to bbounce back and come up with something else to better serve you all. I'm open to ideas, but I'm not accepting new commissions anymore. Thinking of shutting that down for a little while, still going to keep working at catching up on what I already owe to everybody, so have no fear on wasting your money. I would never like to wrong anyone who's supported me with that. I'd advise any Tier 3s and above to edit your pledges down to one, two, or five dollars while I work to catch up on your requests.
Open for ideas on best possible methods for efficiency.

I still owe you at least two more freebies, if I can't get anything after Danmachi done then I suggest you edit y our pledge down to one dollar. I'd hate to feel like I'm cheating anybody, also, t hanks, you're a real sport about this mess I made. :) Btw, what eps of Danmachi would I have to watch?

2019-01-20 00:23:25 +0000 UTCHonestly just write the one danmachi fic that I PM'd you about and we'll call it good while you straighten the rest of the comms out. Not gonna add any more irons on the fire after you closed the comms to catch up. I think its good to wipe the slate clean then restructure into something more manageable.

2019-01-20 00:20:17 +0000 UTCHow many do I owe you btw? I know I did White Knight twice now, I'm eager to pay you back with more of any story, though I'll confess I'm not familiar with Danmachi.

2019-01-20 00:13:58 +0000 UTCI've supported you for a while at the higher tiers. (T6 currently) and I've always been a proponent of you lowering your word counts. They're just set way too high. If I would be doing I would probably make the tier 1 just a place to support the page, maybe give them a vote in a poll for a story YOU want to write instead of each one getting their own comm. Then maybe even slash the word counts of all the other tiers in half. I think most of your fans would appreciate more consistent updates on smaller chapters than wait so long to see the comm come to life. And yes, I'm saying this as someone who's word count would drop like 5-6k words per month. I would be much happier with something like that.

2019-01-20 00:06:55 +0000 UTCNo voting is a bad idea. I pledged to get my stories and I don't want my stuff getting pushed back because it doesn't get voted for.

2019-01-17 12:16:18 +0000 UTCGonna mix that in with lowered word counts and prices, that's for sure. Limits a good idea. Voting, maybe, I don't want to make anyone feel they've wasted their money on something they're not going to see.

2019-01-17 04:25:46 +0000 UTCLowering the word count is fine. I mean in tier 2 already allows people to stock up the word count (with a limit). I think you should set limit the amount of ficlets (what you're comfortable with) you write per month have have people stock up the word count instead. That way you don't get overwhelmed. You can even try to do a voting of patreon requested prompts. Winners is this month, losers next month (I guess except for priority ones). That way all request is going to be done within a certain time-frame, instead of rushing at the word count goals each month.

2019-01-17 04:16:46 +0000 UTCI think I'll do that, I screencapped your other comment stating the example on word counts. Your idea might actualy work.

2019-01-17 04:15:42 +0000 UTCI think you should. I also think that people from Tier 1 get too many words for how little they pay. It's not really fair that they pay $1 per month for 1k words compared to Tier 2 paying $5 for 2k and Tier 3 paying $15 for 6k. You should make the commissions only once a month (i.e. x words per month rather than week), reduce the words counts across the board significantly, and also make sure everyone is paying the same amount per word.

2019-01-17 04:07:53 +0000 UTCThink I might do that actually. Just need to remake the tiers and make them sound appealing. I still have to owe everyone else for their patronage though, that might take a while, but maybe when I get out of this funk I can write like a beast again. I definitly don't want to cheat anybody out of their pledges, this is gonna take some thinking, but lowering the word coutns and the prices sounds likea good solid first move.

2019-01-17 03:55:44 +0000 UTCIt’s cool my dude and looking through everything I think the word count and tiers are definitely what’s hurting you as after all so many 8-10ks plus the bunch 6ks and so on definitely put a lot of workload on you. I’d say rest then shorten the tiers word count to less (maybe 6k Max and below? Maybe that’s too short but just an example) because I think that would be of big help to time spent and wait times if the word count is lower and make the big boy ones like 8-10k like something you do as a special for a month or something like that so we can still get it but it’s not so often it becomes a hassle.

2019-01-17 03:49:38 +0000 UTCI don't know how you feel personally about your writing tempo but if it were me I would lower it to where I feel I can get the work done with maybe some extra time to either go back and look over it again or possibly take on extra commissions for those that just want one time.

2019-01-17 03:45:04 +0000 UTCMaybe, should I edit the word count to be lower two? Or start over from scratch with the higher tiers?

2019-01-17 03:42:55 +0000 UTCHonestly I feel you should limit how many people are in each group and possibly get rid of some of those high tiers. Even tier 3 has a 6000 word commission for a possibility of 20 people. Maybe some could be every other month.
