Chapter One- First Chance Impressions

Weiss Schnee’s POV-

‘If I could say I would regret not taking one chance in life it would not throwing caution to the wind and abandoning the family I’m part of. I should have gone to Beacon and march on the path of becoming a Huntress to secure a name for myself, but one reason or another I decided not to and hoped to take back my grandfather’s company a different from the inside. Boy what a mistake that was. My younger brother Whitley, a conniving little bootlicker, became favored instead of me because of my older sister Winter’s actions with choosing the military. Father had become very disappointed in her actions and thought his daughters lose faith in him, so in turn he lost faith in us and favored his only son instead. Afterwards he designated Whitley to be the Heir to the company and I was just ignored in his place, left to rot in Atlas being educated by top tutors and married off in a business arranged marriage. Lucky me, right?’

‘My dad didn’t tell me anything about who I’d be engaged with to secure this business contract with Vytal Aviation, an Aerospace engineering firm and shipping company that made it big on the island of Vytal. I was to be wed to the only son of the company, a young boy named Perseus Vitali. I think I dodged a bullet with my partner not being some old rich lecher, but I am holding out hope that his Perseus isn’t some spoiled pampered prince. I wasn’t even allowed to meet him prior to the wedding itself, that’s how little freedom I have in my life. I can only hope he is a good guy and not a jerk like my father is.’

Standing at the end of the walkway and altar was a white-clad priest holding open a book ready to read from. Next to him was Jacques Schnee himself, his business partner Daedalus Vitali, his wife Andromeda, and lastly their son himself Perseus Vitali. One distinguishing feature stuck out from the group of business owners that Weiss was set to marry into.

The girl herself now walked down the walkway heading  to the altar, she was wearing an elegant beautiful white wedding dress hugging her tight petite frame nicely. The icy veil covered her face, which bore a saddened expression on it despite the elegant makeup she put on. Winter, her elder sister, saw this and became heartbroken knowing that it was in part her fault for Weiss’s lot in life. In the seating stands was the entire Schnee family consisting of Whitley, Winter, and their own mother Willow alongside the charming butler Klein. All of them held contemplative looks of regret and mild sadness for Weiss’s direction in life now, but more than that they were confused by Jacques’s choice of the groom and his family. 

That one very obvious trait they shared perplexed them greatly as Weiss made her way down the aisle. The pipe music played and the many guests attending the wedding looked at Weiss’s gown in awe, it shimmered with sparkles of blue and white like it were an icy dress made of expensive diamonds itself. Ironically that isn’t too far off the mark. While she slowly paced over to the altar her downcasted eyes looked up and saw, to her surprise, what her future husband and his family looked like.

‘What the…..t-they look rather mundane compared to all the usual suitors and families? They’re not rich people or politicians, I wonder what Dad is scheming. ’ She wondered in stunned surprise when she saw that the two future in-laws that looked as normal and unassuming as any couple would be. They didn’t have the air of elitism and snobbish condescending smile on their faces like Weiss was expecting. 

Instead, they just looked happily at their son standing next to them seeming nervous. The father of the groom was rugged looking yet friendly looking man that didn’t strike Weiss as snobbish like most of her father’s other business contacts, his wife looked more modest and plain in general yet still quite lovely in a more natural way. She was a shorter brunette with a kindly look on her face as she watched Weiss come down the aisle. 

Looking to her side she saw many of the Vitali family friends and relatives were various regulars from a relatively small city somewhere south of Atlas Kingdom, this made her think part of this was a publicity stunt to negate bad press.

‘Huh, either he’s getting more devious for public approval or maybe he’s finally letting go of the prejudice. Although, I wouldn't exactly put a lot of faith in that second option. Knowing Dad…..’ Weiss thought and saw the usual inscrutable expression on Jacques’s face, she noticed he was smiling, but it was obviously a rather fake smile one puts on for the press. Like a conniving weasel Weiss compared him to, it wasn’t anymore than genuine than all the other fake smiles he or her mother put on for family photos. Now he was just looking at her with a an artificial fatherly grin and soft pair of eyes, this she snubbed at until she arrived at the altar.

Then, she looked to her right and saw him; her future husband Perseus Vitali. He looked a couple years older than her, likely at nineteen, he had modest dirty-blonde hair combed back nicely, a pair of ocean blue eyes that somewhat reeked with nervousness, and was a good five feet and ten inches tall. The boy looked as innocent as they came and thankfully didn’t wear the usual smug condescending smile most of her old suitors had.

He flashed a friendly smile at her and nodded as she arrived to the place in front of her facing the boyish suitor with a neutral friendly grin. The priest began.

“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to unite these two in holy matrimony…” He began and the two looked to each other with Perseus being bashful about facing her, this made Weiss chuckle just a little bit.

‘Well, seems like he isn’t a jerk of any kind, if anything he seems a lot like me; innocent in all of this. Still not that I’m still any less sour about this arranged marriage though, but at the very least this guy doesn’t seem like a bad person, at least here anyway. Wait till we’re alone together then I’ll make my judgment..’ Weiss noted with a soft smile directed at him as he lifted up her veil revealing her dazzling face.

The priest continue rambling the sermon on as the pair looked into each other’s eyes feeling the tension between strangers dissipate a bit more by the minute. Perseus quickly looked to his sides to see if anyone was listening in and then leaned forward to whisper to Weiss.

“For the record, I’m not a fan of being arrange-married either, but….uh….you look really beautiful, you know. The blue sparkles in the dress really bring out your eyes. I hope we can get along well during the marriage. I’m….happy I can finally meet you in person, your dad has told me a lot about you.” Perseus whispered making the girl nod in appreciation and cast a curious glare at her father  from afar. Normally it was ‘Schnee name’ this and that instead of any personal merits Weiss to herself, it was strange that he would act like a normal father with these people.

Not only were her initial preconceptions about him dismissed but also the fact that her father had anything nice to say about her at all in regards to this.

‘Did I step into a bizarro world or something? The groom isn’t a pampered prince or a snob,and my father actually talked about me in a not-so-negative way. I must be dreaming.’ She thought and nodded as it sounded like the priest was wrapping up.

“....and do you, Weiss Schnee, take Perseus Vitali to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, till death do you part?” 

Weiss looked to the priest briefly and then back to the innocent looking boy in front of her and nodded.

“I do.” She said without sounding depressed, this surprised Willow and Winter Schnee from afar making them look at each other in surprise. Weiss thought they’d expect more sadness or defiance in her response.

“And do you, Perseus Vitali, take Miss Weiss Schnee, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health till death do you part?”

Perseus nodded curtly with an upbeat smile focused on Weiss.

“I do.”

“Then I now pronounce you, man and wife, you may now kiss the bride.” The priest concluded and Perseus gently reached over with one arm hooking around Weiss’s  waist and another holding a side of her face. His lips met with hers in a sweet tender embrace making her close her eyes and relent peacefully into the kiss before arching herself in and tossing the bouquet into the air amidst the cheering audience.

Everyone was clapping and cheering and Jacques looked even pleased with seeing his daughter throw herself into the arms of the young man he gave his blessings to. He still wore a rather fake smile on his mug that Willow and Winter knew all too well, they looked sadly at Weiss knowing that her future was bartered away for seeming more financial reasons. Winter would still forever hate her father and Willow simply hoped for the best from her youngest daughter. The last thing she wanted was another sham marriage with a constant despair looming over the young girl.

While Weiss was kissing the boy on the lips she felt surprised by everything she’s seen and learned in this day alone. Not only was her initial opinions of the suitor dashed, but also the fact that she found him rather endearing instead of annoying. It certainly helped that he was as handsome in a cute boyish way as he was seemingly innocent in demeanor.

With the clang of wedding bells and the sight of Perseus picking up Weiss by the legs and carrying her bridal style the two left for the white limousine waiting just outside the large cathedral where the wedding took place. Everyone outside and inside were throwing confetti and cheering for them, Weiss still had on a plastered smile on her face despite her first impression of the boy changing for the better. Part of her thought that maybe her father paid him to act benevolent, but seeing him clumsily carry into her into the limo she saw that he flashed her a nervous smile before getting in with her. They signaled the driver to drive off leaving behind the wedding ceremony with everyone clapping further and further behind them.

“Wheew….! Finally, all of those people staring at us were making me nervous.” He let out with a sigh making Weiss smirk coyly as she removed her headpiece.

“So, what say we get to know each other a little better from here on out? We are on our way to the honeymoon suite after all, I’d like to know more about you starting with the fact that you’re-”

Perseus had removed his suit jacket and unfolded a small kite-sized pair of golden flaxen wings from his backside. Weiss felt her voice die off in her throat as she looked at him in utter surprise.

“...Faunus? H-how...what….explain yourself!” She called out and pushed the button on the side seat rolling up the divider between themselves at the automatic driver. It was an Atleasian bot driving their limo to their suite after all, but Weiss couldn’t be sure they wouldn’t be bugged to listen in on them.

“Yes, I’m a Faunus. My parents and I both are, but we kept it secret for ages when it comes to being out in public. We’re not ashamed of who we are, no, but we’re do try to avoid trouble with our business being as big as it is. Especially when your father arrived at our house about a year ago to talk to my parents.” Perseus revealed making Weiss nod attentively as he continued. 

Weiss tapped another button somewhere bringing up a compartment where there were champagne glasses and a large bottle of wine inside of it.

“W-Wow! I didn’t know this car can do that.” Perseus gushed with stars in his eyes.

‘What is he, a child?’ She thought in slight amusement at his impression and served him a glass before serving herself one as well. “So, about that….my father was never known to be friendly with any Faunus person before. Did he know that you and your family were ones? He’s built a reputation on being a racist just because he works more Faunus than humans into dangerous mining operations. I’m kinda afraid to assume he bought out your business or something.” Weiss guessed and the boy shook his head no.

“Nah, ti’s  nothing like that. He just wanted to absorb our business into the SDC, probably as part of a show to promote helping smaller businesses instead of running them out.” Perseus assumed and Weiss nodded with a sour face.

‘That sounds like him alright, at least he didn’t buy them out and leave out in the dust. But where do I fit in?’ She wondered as he continued. 

“When it came to our business we were steadfast in keeping everything to ourselves and simply opening up a Schnee coffee place inside of it, but then he offered up...a marriage.” Perseus recently stated making Weiss wear a knowing frown. She wouldn't expect any less from her father by this point. 

“My parents wanted me to get a girlfriend badly so they took up his offer on the arranged-marriage proposal, he talked to me about you and told me all about yoru feats and talents. Then he showed me a picture which made me feel my heart string up.” He chuckled making Weiss giggle with a roll of her eyes.

“But does he know that you and your family are Faunus? Because he's had a pretty bad reputation with them and vice versa. His opinion of your people really went south when the White Fan started targeting our family.” Weiss pointed out and Perseus shook his head.

“No, we’d like to keep it that way. It’s a very important secret and who knows what could happen if it gets out. Your father might just buy us out if he learned of it, so I’m asking you….Weiss...to please keep this a secret. We only share it with people we absolutely trust.” Perseus pleaded as he took hold of her hands surprising her and making her blush.

‘Wow so humble….but didn’t he take it off because the jacket was stifling it?’ She wondered and nodded with a serious face making Perseus smile and act on impulse. He suddenly cupped her cheeks and planted a swift kiss to her lips in celebration, this reaction made Weiss blush madly as she felt her heart racing a little at the unexpectedness of it. 

“Oh uh, sorry? I know we’re arranged married and all that, but we are still total strangers, right?” Perseus apologized rubbing the back of his neck nervously before she chuckled.

“It’s fine, you’re allowed to do those things, but….I wouldn’t be opposed to getting to know you better. Just so things aren’t so awkward as we make our way to the honeymoon suite.” 

Perseus blushed and nodded taking a filled wine glass and held it up in a toast to her. Weiss smiled a friendly smile and clanked her glass with his before drinking down it’s contents.

“Well, we do have a bit of a long drive ahead of us. I say let’s start learning about each other.” Perseus proposed and she nodded in agreement. 

During the limo drive to the hotel suite Weiss and Perseus got to know each other a little better during the duration. While drinking bits of wine in between and connecting through similar experiences Weiss found herself gradually becoming enamored with her new husband. Perseus went over his early life experiences with being a Faunus on the humble side of the class structure. Weiss found out, to her delight, that he actually had an IQ of 147, meaning he was pretty smart and actually  on her level in some respects. 

They talked about semblances and special abilities that were instilled into them  at an early age, Weiss trained with the rapier and has access to a family-exclusive semblance of Glyphs. She could be as versatile as she wants with them and use each one accordingly with Dust making her a powerhouse, but she became depressed when she reminded herself that she ultimately chose to follow suit in her elitist high-class life. Failing that combat test brought back sour memories until Perseus reached over from his seat to wipe a tear off her cheek and greet her with a friendly smile.

SOmehow she felt a little less tearful and found herself growing comfortable with the young husband of hers. When the limo slowed to a stop they knew that they were finally here, getting out Weiss was then scooped out of her side of the limo seat into Perseus’s arms making her blush furiously.

“H-hey now! I don't recall asking to be picked up.” She spat out flustered and looking cute. Perseus simply chuckled and kept her lithe angelic little body held close to his chest as he walked up the stairs of the walkway leading to their two-story honeymoon suite. It was a vacation home used by Weiss’s family in events or such occasions like weddings. Jacques deemed it perfect for Weiss’s honeymoon, seeing as how he never used it for himself and Willow at all in years. 

“A husband has to carry his newly wed wife, Weiss. Those are the rules and I don't make them.” Perseus jokes receiving a cute pout and a huff from Weiss as he carried her up the steps. “Oh whow, this place is a little bigger than I thought and those are a lot of steps.”

Both of them noticed their suite was on a gentle hilltop slope a good amount of steps north. Perseus brought out his wings and began channeling his semblance, Weiss watched in wonder as a flow of air swept up from under them lifting him up into the sky to float upward starting Weiss.

“Whoah! Hey….easy now with the flying. I’m not too comfortable suddenly doing this just so you can skip a few steps.” Weiss commented with a slight bit of snideness to her voice. Perseus just chuckled and floated expertly over to the house ahead of them. He landed gently at the step of the front door keeping Weiss in his arms.

“Relax, I’ve had practice channeling my semblance in conjunction with my wings, besides I wouldn’t dare drop you, Weiss.” He stated while fishing out his key card to open the door. Weiss simply blushed appropriately when hearing his comment, somehow she felt more comfortable with this strange Faunus boy than she had with even her own family members. Something about him spoke to  her in a sense of support and comfort, something she thought she only had with her  older sister Winter. 

She blushed and nestled herself closer to his neck as he swiped the card and unlocked the electronic lock on the door. With a gentle push of his right foot he opened their entryway up and let themselves on in revealing a lavish vacation suite suited to high-class tastes.

“Wow, it’s even nicer than the mall during holidays. I can’t believe your family never used this.” He commented in awe as he carried Weiss up the artistically styled stairway leading to their large high-class master bedroom.

“If you think this is something you should not visit our mansion, I guarantee you’ll faint after seeing it.” Weiss commented making him squeamish at the thought of what the place looked like. They arrived at the  bedroom seeing a large queen-sized bed layered in heavenly white and gentle golden yellow, everything felt so high-profile that Perseus felt out of place as he floated closer and gently tossed his newlywed wife onto the large bed.

“Oof. Hmmm, bouncy. That’s a nice change of pace.” Weiss commented as she kicked off her high-heel shoes revealing her dainty lovely feet clad in white stocking.

“I’ll say...so...what do we say we start celebrating our honeymoon, ‘Honey’?” Perseus asked a bit nervously making Weiss snicker in delight and pat the spot on the bed next to her telling him to sit down.

“Let’s get comfortable first, this is a new thing for either of us, you know. I’d like to get to know you a little better before we….do that. Besides, the more I talk to you the more comfortable I feel. Trust me when I say that you are way way better than any of the bald, old, fat guys my father tried using as my previous suitors. After spending time with you I feel I lucked out completely.” Weiss stated softly making Perseus's eyes water in delight as he felt his heart melt hearing her words. 

He nodded to her and kicked off his shoes so he could plop down next to her enjoying the bouncy bed. 

“I’m glad I got arranged with you too, Weiss. I was worried I’d marry a girl with high expectations and an attitude against Faunus, you are like a hundred out of ten on so many levels that I can’t help but feel like it was destiny.” Perseus said seriously casting a look at Weiss’s profile and seeing her blush.

She turned her head to face him directly showing him her reddened cheeks as she scooted closer to him.

“For the record, that was super cheesy.” She said making him burst out laughing and soon too she followed suit. Both legacy bearers broke out into a heartfelt laughter simply enjoying each other’s company until Perseus got up again to serve them both glasses of red wine.

“Here you go, Misses Vitali.” Perseus said in a cute whimsical gesture as he handed Weiss her glass, she rolled her eyes coyly and took a small sip waiting for him to get down onto the bed with her once more. Before he did he started removing his fanciful top layer of clothing, the tuxedo, then came the bow tie and the undershirt leaving him in a simple white tank top with his wings folded out gently stretching.

“Ooh yeah, that’s a relief,these things hate being confined in clothing, which is why the suit bothered me so much. It chafes like crazy.” He commented rubbing the edge of his left wing, Weiss looked at it in wonder and scooted closer to him standing up on her knees. She placed her wine glass down at the nightstand and reached for those large feathery extensions of his person.

“W-Weiss?” He asked startled when he felt her dainty soft hands touching the upper edges of both wings. He looked over his shoulder at her seeing her reddened face stare at them with intrigue.

“I…..I want to feel them. Sit down and let me….touch them, please.” She requested gently in a cute tone that had him hypnotized. He obeyed his new wife and plopped his buttocks down onto the bed still wearing the tuxedo pants.

Weiss nodded in appreciation and started massaging her fingers along the upper tresses of her husband’s wings, Perseus didn’t reveal that they were extremely sensitive to touch, specially Weiss’s soft fingers.

“Mnnngghh.~” Perseus moaned comically trying to stifle his groans. Weiss gently ran her fingers along the upper flexions of his wings hitting sensitive spots she didn’t know he had, then on reflex they expanded to the sides startling her a bit. She couldn’t help but admire them and compare Perseus’s extra appendages to that of an angel, until she heard him speak.

“They’re…..they’re sensitive.” He whimpered making her giggle a little bit.

Weiss then got up on her knees and reached over this shoulders o wrap her slender arms around the broad side of his back holding his chest. Perseus felt the heat rise up inside his chest making him turn his face to see hers up close to his with a glowing blush. Their eyes made contact and locked onto each other, both of them feeling the heat of the moment begin to bloom as Perseus raised his hand up to grasp hers closely to his chest. 

‘I can hear his heart pounding…...he must really like me. Hehe.’ Weiss thought to herself feeling the compulsion to do something in the heat of this moment. She lowered her eyes half-way into a bedroom-focused gaze and leaned in before realizing what she was doing. Perseus gulped and leaned in as well leading to his lips crossing hers in a tender sweet lip-lock between man and wife.

“Mmhhhhhh.” Weiss moaned into the kiss, still surprised with herself as she felt her husband’s lips gently suckle onto hers. Perseus then closed his eyes and brought a hand up to wrap around the back of her head, he pulled her closer and started channeling more energy into their exchange making their lip-lock turn into a slow make outsession.

“Hmmm.~” He breathed into Weiss’s lips tasting her flavor as she suckled and breathed in his breath, the pair pulled their arms around each other next leading to a more heated make out session wrought with slow burning passion. 

Weiss had her eyes closed peacefully as she tasted her husband’s lips on her tongue as it dove in past his own lips. His hands rolled down to her cute supple rump squeezing her cheeks through her formal wedding dress and making her squeak internally in response. She had the knee-jerk reaction of wanting to tense up and smack him, but felt that wasn’t the appropriate response to this sort of relationship. She wanted a functioning one unlike her mother, and with glorious irony her suitor turned out to be a Faunus. If Weiss’s father knew then he’d no doubt wretch with anger and misery. This brought a smile to her lips as they curled around Perseus’s tongue amidst their heated makeout session.

After sharing spit for a few more minutes Weiss and Perseus broke off breathing rapidly with flustered faces. She looked excitedly into his eyes,  which matched her enthusiasm as he reached his hand to the back of her zipper beginning to pull down her dress. Weiss smirked coyly and allowed him while running her hand  along his face in an affectionate manner.

“I know...huff..huff….that no permission needs to be made, since well we’re  married now, but...shall we do that, right?” Perseus asked with hitched breath as he slid more of her dress zipper off revealing her elegant naked back to the scenery.

“Of course, it is a honeymoon after all. Besides, I’ve grown to like you, as far as arranged marriages go I think I got really lucky in meeting you. Let’s hope you don't turn into a jerk when it comes all that money we’ll inherit later.”

To her surprise Perseus waved that notion off and flashed her a boyish grin and brought his hands up to the straps of her dress pulling them down her shoulders.

“I’ve never had a need for a lot of money, I’m fairly simple-minded and carefree about materialistic things. Plus, I like flying more anyway, really gives you a sense a freedom. Right now though, I’m just happy I found such a wonderful girl in my arms and not a snob that resents Faunus. If anyone’s struck fortune it’s me, and I don't mean literally.” Perseus  said making Weiss’s heart flutter. She knew he wasn’t saying what she wanted to hear to cover up any true personalities, his words were legitimate and Weiss loved that about him. It was ironic in a sense, that this lad only preferred the simple things in life and cared more about people while wearing a big heart on his sleeve. It was a contrast to everything her family was or ever will be outside of her mother and her sister.

“I’d like for you take me flying one of these days, hope you’ll be alright carrying me or helping me craft a pair of mechanical wings to do it with. I want to feel free too…..” She said feeling the cool air grace her lithe naked back as her dress slipped off of her body exposing her growing C-cup tits to Perseus’s eyes. His mouth watered upon seeing those frosty light-pink gems of nipples she had on her body.

Weiss blushed profusely and averted her gaze until his hands cupped her adorable cheeks bringing her back to focus on him and see his dazzling smile.

“I promise, one way or another we’ll go flying through the air, but for right now….let me take you on a different path of life. Let me treat you, Misses Vitali.” He cooed sending shivers up Weiss’s spine as he crept close and leaned in to her neck kissing along her jawline while massaging her butt cheeks with her fingers. Her dress was pooled around her knees as she sat on the bed in a kneeling position. Weiss tossed back her head a  little moaning in fluttering gasps as his warm lips touched along every sensitive spot of her neck. 

She started breathing faster and moaning lightly as she felt her nerves light up in sensitive pleasure. Perseus was a real gentle kisser and the warm suction of his lips felt amazing to the dainty princess of ice. “Haaahh….!~  Mmnnnhh, you’re a real wizard with those lips of yours, huh?” She breathed making him chuckle as he let go of her neck and kissed up her chin and along her jawline. Weiss started feeling her heart flutter even more until she felt Perseus’s hands gently nudge her onto her back making her lay face up on the bed.Her tits were pointed up and her legs rose high so that he could pull off the rest of her dress. Weiss giggled as she lifted her legs up letting the dress slide off completely exposing her crystal white thong covering up her mons. Perseus felt his erection push hard against his tuxedo pants as he saw his newlywed wife spread open her legs in submission. She did it with a coy smile and fingered the opening of her panties exposing her moist velvet opening to him.

“Unngh.” Perseus whimpered comically in arousal and felt his pants become even more uncomfortable as he head Weiss said the next few words.
