Tristan is back for another episode! I like that he's so easy to write for compared to other series I'm currently tackling; he's certainly a welcome change to my typical roster. And the runtime is less than 20 minutes?! How ludicrous! XD
After his pilot episode, I knew that I wanted to continue his story as this is a popular trope I have yet to really dive into. The potential conflicts are endless, so I hope you're looking forward to the journey!

Oh brother, what a mess 😮💨. This has the potential to be a real headache that's for sure, so I want to commend you Saku on getting the drama started literally on the 2nd episode. You just couldn't hold back, could you? 😂 First of all, I really don't care that Gumpy was drunk and impaired, they're hella out of line for that unwelcome kiss. However, I do wonder if they're unconsciously acting on feelings they may have been harboring for quite some time. Also, Gumpy alluding to Ansley not liking them...It could just be them being insecure or something, but I would like to know their general opinion on Ansley while sober, because I wonder if they're lowkey jealous of her assuming they truly have been harboring feelings for Tristan for sometime. If they do have feelings, then why the fuck were they in a relationship at all? That is so disrespectful to their partner. But if they don't, then they're basically just using Tristan as a rebound, and given that Tristan confessed to them years ago, that's just unreasonably selfish and cruel. They need to clear the air the moment they sober up and apologize to Tristan first thing in the morning. Truly embarrassing behavior from them. That shit pissed me off so bad. 😤 Next, Tristan. Idk what this dude is even doing. The amount of favoritism and priority he gives to Gumpy while leaving his girl with nothing is baffling. At the drop of a hat, he's ready to be at Gumpy's every beck and call, while his girlfriend just wants to spend some quality time together, which they clearly need, but he can't even do that. Her suggesting the couple's trip is a CLEAR indicator that she's becoming cautious of his closeness with Gumpy and wants to dispel some of her worries by strengthening their relationship. But what does Tristan do? He once again inserts Gumpy in their relationship. I'm sorry, but what does Gumpy going through a breakup have anything to do with you spending time with your girl? These aren't mutually exclusive events, but the way he reacts, you would think Gumpy got cancer or was in a terrible accident and is paralyzed from the waist down or just escaped an abusive relationship or suffered some other traumatic event that he wants to help them through. Nope. They just experienced a very typical breakup, but for some reason Tristan feels he needs to supervise them 24/7 like he's an on-call doctor or something??? And then to air out your grievances to the very person that's causing this rift is WILD. Thankfully, he did pull back from the kiss and immediately remove himself from the room. However, he isn't out of the clear yet. On top of him displaying rather subdued affection and love towards his girlfriend (it really feels like Ansley has more stake in the relationship and loves him more than he loves her), he also is in a crazy predicament to stop this whole situation from spiraling further by simply just communicating with her. He hasn't cheated since he was kissed against his will, so all he has to do is call Ansley or head back to his place to meet her face to face and tell her what happened. Yeah, she'll probably be angry and yeah, she may decide to end the relationship, but at least he did his due diligence and did right by his conscience to tell her immediately. The moment he waits or hesitates or just doesn't tell her at all because she'll be angry, she'll misunderstand, she'll hate Gumpy, the relationship might end, etc. that'll be it. Because what it all comes down to is if he feels guilty that the kiss happened, because he would only feel guilty about an action he had no control over if he had any lingering romantic feelings towards Gumpy at all, and that would be emotional cheating. And at that point, both Tristan and Gumpy can fuck off somewhere for all I care. 🤮 Either way, I'm siding with my girl Ansley. She needs more attention and love. 🥰

2025-06-07 21:02:12 +0000 UTCrespectfully what the fuck also i don’t get the comments. i mean, a kiss doesn’t consider cheating when you were the one who was kissed against your will. i don’t blame listener completely either. self control whilst being wasted is a rare skill, and i don’t think tristan was completely oblivious and didn’t take into account that that kiss wouldn’t happen in any case. like bro please pick your words. besides, i feel bad for his girlfriend, because physical affair is one thing, but saying the things like “you always make me feel amazing” I AM NOT YOUR GIRLFRIEND BRO come on. saying things like that when listener was so vulnerable and then also complaining about his relationship. like don’t talk about it with me, go to your girl.
