CW: Cevyk's narrative will contain darker themes in general, including but not limited to mentions of torture and acts of harm. The primary focus of this audio is story-driven, not ASMR. Please be aware there may be loud sounds such as explosions, screaming, yelling, etc.
As it is spooky month, I think the best way to end it is with Cevyk! However, it is also time to say goodbye to him. Cevyk had become an annual character, and though I was okay with this initially, I had fleshed out his world to the point of making a new language. And, for a character you'd only see once a year, I decided that it wasn't worth expanding his story any further. If I did, it would require a lot more effort than I'm willing to make.
He has a lot of potential, and Cevyk is so fun to write for because of how different he is! I added a little soundtrack just to experiment with what could've been, but I need to keep my own creativity and time in mind; unfortunately, that means putting him on the shelf.

even with a few amount of parts, what we know of Cevyk and Iqsus makes for *such* a fascinating and unsettling (in the best way) short series. i love how the atmosphere is created as well, it really feels accurate for being fully surrounded in the depths of the darkest place imaginable lol will miss him and his barbaric, but oddly charming, character - but looking forward for what's to come next. thank you for creating and sharing him with us! now he's on the shelf, i'll make re listening to his series an official halloween tradition 🎃☝️

And the fact that Iqsus leaned so far into their sadism (idk, that's what I'm going to call it), makes it seem like they want to become a demon? No idea if “turning” into a demon is even possible, but Iqsus most definitely wants to test it out. I still can't believe that they're content with eternal suffering so long as they get to torture the person that betrayed them. I have a schtick against traitors, too, but wtf did they do to breed such generational hate 🙄? No amount of revenge is worth eternal damnation, but to each their own I guess. 🙃 Loved the soundscape when they were walking down the hall. Kinda crazy that hearing those screams is just another Tuesday for them. I think it's more of a testament to Iqsus as a character since Cevyk is a demon and is used to it. Iqsus, given that they're human, has adapted so well to their new environment that I could say that they're thriving there. It certainly is a testament to human adaptability (not having their psyche break and go insane) or it could allude to what was brought up in the audio about demons and humans not being so different in the end, which is a conversation for another day. Both are very chilling, though. 🥶🥶 I did find it interesting that when the topic of jealousy was brought up and both parties denied it, Cevyk was being honest while Iqsus wasn't. Not saying that Cevyk can't feel jealousy, but Iqsus is really overestimating the amount of affection Cevyk holds for them, or maybe they're projecting their own affection onto him. Either way, I found it funny that Iqsus is clearly developing some level of attachment to him while Cevyk couldn't give less of a shit. 😆 Man, I'm going to miss Cevyk and his fascination with torture. One thing I like about him is that he's so extremely different from all of your other characters. I think they all (barring Asirel and maybe Xanny) can be classified as good people, meanwhile Cevyk is on the opposite side of morality. I'm honestly relieved that you chose to depict a demon as, well, a demon. People so often water demons down to hot bad boys that actually have a heart of gold or something. I feel like people are too scared to write evil and uncomfortable characters, especially as one of the protagonists. To me, it makes them so intriguing to learn about. So, thank you for creating him and I can't wait to see what other characters you create that may have sus moral compasses as well! ☺️
