Patreon Changes

SUBSCRIPTION BILLING NOW IN EFFECT
Ever since having a Patreon, the billing has been on a 'first of the month' basis as you know. However, I recently received an email from Patreon about this billing option being discontinued, and that the whole company will be switching creators over to subscription billing come November.
This means that the date you become a patron will remain the date future payments will be made on every month, and will effect all those in future who subscribe.
For those of you already here, it will remain as the 1st, so nothing needs to be done on your part!
I just wanted to make you all aware!
TIER CHANGE
In my previous update, I talked about having one tier for Patreon so everyone has access to everything I post.
Next week, I will be changing the price of the 'Secret Citizen' tier and unpublishing the 'Spicy Citizen' so that all those on the 'Spicy Citizen' tier can make the switch over.
The new price will come into effect on your next billing date which, at this moment, should be the 1st of next month.
I will make another announcement when this happens!

2024-08-20 00:26:34 +0000 UTCThat's the gist of it , yes! For those on the Spicy Citizen tier, they will all have to manually switch to the Secret Citizen tier when the price change is in effect.

2024-08-19 13:09:10 +0000 UTCI hope I got this correct… So for the subscription change, Patron will be changing it to the date you became a patron for someone won’t automatically be on the first but whatever date you subscribed to them but if you’re already subscribed to them they will continue to be on the 1st of each month. And for the tier change, you’re removing “Spicy Citizen” tier & changing the name of “Secret Citizen” so that there’s only one tier where everyone gets all posts. Do those on “Spicy Citizen” (such as me) have to manually switch to the new tier when it’s available or will it be automatic?
