Returning To Work~

Hello, all Patrons!

I hope that you've all had a great month of July!

We're almost in August now, and with the time I've had off, I think I'm ready to get back to work! I want to inform you on what I've been thinking about and what to expect. This is gonna be a long update, so be prepared!

AUGUST - BILLING & CONTENT

I have already somewhat returned, though I wanted to make sure I had an audio ready for August (which it is)! Outlines have begun, scripts are being written, and my mind machine is whirring back to life. Therefore, billing will resume on August 1st.

Jonah's sleep aid (at 1 hr and 30 mins long) will be uploaded on the 3rd of August!

I will also work on Isaac's NSFW part for an August release!

The master list will be posted on the 1st as usual!

POSSIBLE TIER CHANGES

For the future, I think I'll be changing the tiers to make Patreon more streamlined and manageable for myself. The current Secret Citizen tier will likely be the only one, and will include (though may change later):

• Early access to all YouTube content

• Early access to all lore

• Bloopers

•  Access to all NSFW content

•  Access to private Discord VC for brainstorming ideas/chilling

•  Monthly movie nights with me

•  Insight into creative process

•  Polls for content

Because the Spicy Citizen tier is at £4.50 and the Secret Citizen tier is at £8.50, I think I will make this new tier £6.50 for all early access/extra and exclusive works.

As a creator who does multiple things, I know I can get blinded with what I can do and what ideas would be great to achieve even though I can't find the time to actually execute them. About 75% of my entire workload is spent on imagination, brainstorming, and detailing. Much of it may never see the light of day; I need to make sure my work has a believable/consistent base to stand on, and that includes researching some aspects and scrapping others. Through this, there are countless ideas that form: spin-offs, AUs, other characters/scenarios/backgrounds. It's always, "What if I do X for A character in another universe instead?" or, "Wouldn't it be cool if I wrote Y for B character?" or, "Would Crumpets like seeing Z history with C character?"

It's honestly endless, and I think this with mostly all of my characters! But I need to realise that I'm a one-man studio, and I can only do so much with the time I'm giving to myself to create and honour these stories and characters. I would LOVE to make episodes dedicated to character lore with an emotional/witty script, a grand cast to breathe life into it, and a library of quality SFX to tie it all together! There are SO MANY instances in a character's life I could write a short story about: the first time Elias killed someone, when Xanthus was turned, when Andrew realised he lost his brother, how Isaac developed his coping mechanisms. The list goes on and on.

I could add polls of a few ideas that really interest me, and y'all can vote on what you'd like to see more of! I've noticed that certain concepts are difficult to make when I can't visualise what I'm creating. Some ideas are way more exciting than others; I think having a poll of suggestions I'm thrilled to make either way would be better!

Let me know what you think! I may implement this starting September.

NEW PERSONAL SCHEDULE

I'm not going to dive head first into the kind of schedule I had before. Though it was sustainable for quite some time, it didn't seem to work for me in the end, and I didn't give myself room to deflate and de-stress.

I tried a similar approach last year which I didn't stick to, but now I'm going to make an effort to abide by it: From now, I will work on all types of content creation on weekdays only, maybe with the exception of streaming and/or if I'm really passionate about finishing something at the weekend. I'll experiment and see what feels right to me moving forward, but I need to set some time aside for my personal works because they really ground me. Also, it's nice to brainstorm about something else every now and then. :D

HIATUS & GRADUATED CHARACTERS

Current characters on hiatus are:

• Xanthus (Writing roadblock)

• Elias (Production roadblock)

I don't want to introduce a new character just yet as I want to properly end characters that I intend on graduating. This includes but is not limited to:

• Kayson (1 audio left)

• Luca (1 audio left)

• Matias

• Niall

• Nico

• Rowan

If you want a proper send-off audio for the above characters to leave the rest of their story in the wind, please let me know!

I want to thank all of you again for your continued support, patience, and understanding. My break confirmed to me that storytelling is an integral part of who I am. I've loved it for as long as I could write. I don't like cutting corners with it, and I will never show something I'm not proud of.
