Written Lore?
Added 2022-08-15 15:57:42 +0000 UTCSo I've been thinking about other ways to give secret citizens extra content, and one of them that came to mind was actual written lore alongside physical pieces like briefcase documents/Xanthus' journal entries.
I'm relatively new to using Photoshop in that kind of way, so I underestimated how much time goes into making pieces look relatively believable. However, I've always known my main strength to be writing, so I've been wondering whether or not to include bits of lore about the world written in either a novel format (probably in second person if it's directly tied to the listener), or in a non-fiction, encyclopaedia-like format.
And on Discord, I recently discovered that I like writing little flashes of a character's life--canon or not--because it all comes down to words and not recording at certain times, editing out takes, sfx, etc.
I've already decided to write a story about how Isaac and Andrew first met at university, but there's so much you don't know about the characters that would never make it into any audios!
Let me know what you think, as well as what you'd like to know about the characters/scenarios and interactions of their past that might be interesting! If the idea is popular enough, I'll definitely start figuring out what to write!

(even side characters -how Vic [and Asirel?] met Isaac's grandpa, or how the gangs came to be-), and their past as it would give them more depth and potentially show why they're acting the way they are in the main story. That Isaac x Andrew fic will be the death of me when it comes out i swear!

2022-08-15 18:39:07 +0000 UTCwaiting less than patiently for the Isaac x Andrew story since you made the decision on discord (cause come on, it’s going to be so freaking cute!) i guess stories between connected characters would be easiest in writing format where you don’t have to worry about voices? something between Twin and Andrew? or maybe when Xanthus first met Dontis and saved his life? there’s just so much potential because it’s already been set up for the characters. 💙
