Andrew's storyline is an interesting one because there are a lot of ways it can end. I'm surprised by how in love he is with the listener, but his perfectionism might be a crutch that could, in the end, cripple him. I guess we'll see in the next part, won't we?

2022-02-14 06:44:33 +0000 UTCSaku has dropped another banger🙏 Im trying so hard to understand the listener's POV, and build reason behind they're being so adamant on this topic, when Andrews point clearly makes sense. To me it's like the listener is...insecure? They keep questioning "I thought you didn't care what others think" and Andrew has to keep reassuring them that it's not their fault and he's willing to fight. As If the listener is worried that Andrew is ashamed of their relationship or something like that. If thats the case then, listener must have a bad relationship history that would cause them to second guess Andrew so much. Thats just my brain filling in for what i dont understand tho, since all listeners are different, there could be multiple reasons for them acting this way. Personally, my "listener" is an OC i made for this story, so im trying to build his background and personality where it fits the actions of the "listener" 😭

So Yes!! totally agree with you on siding with Andrew on this one. Although Andrew has alrdy considered everything before pursuing the listener, at the end of the day, he is kinda in a lose-lose situation. Though the listener technically expressed her feelings first and Andrew had set boundaries on displaying affection on campus, we cant deny the power dynamic their relationship has and I dont think they can either. Either way both of their plights here feels like a time bomb and idk who is at the end of their timer.

2022-02-11 21:44:16 +0000 UTCi have to say, i side with Andrew more than Listener this time (though yes, Listener has some valid points as well, it's not completely one sided). sure it's easy to say that other people's opinions about their relationship shouldn't matter, but it's naive and idealistic to think it doesn't at all, especially since Andrew is in a position of authority over Listener. Andrew certainly has a lot more to lose than Listener in this situation, and they need to really understand that, and that they're not going to be able to have a "normal" relationship while Andrew is still their professor. also, holy cow that's proceeding really fast to be asking to move in together already 😵💫 but that's definitely my personal opinion.

I can imagine the listener’s sight following Andrew whenever they meet in campus but Andrew barely react... it will surely be hard for the listener. But I’m sure that if the listener also acts like Andrew’s nobody, he will be annoyed too. (like before XD) In fact I don’t think pretending that nothing has happened will help make gossip less. On the contrary they might just stop if we act super natural... but let’s just respect him and do it in Andrew’s way

LIKE GURL/BOI you know yo man?? why you gotta put him in this position of having to choose?? listener can very well help him out rather than let him carry everything on his shoulders? Andrew thinks more about the future like the perfectionist he is and the listener thinks more about the present bc I feel like the listener is more affected by the gossip than what she presents to be seeing how she wants more PDA and such.

Even though Andrew's storyline started off as a fantasy or whatever, it's getting deep. And it's a really distressing situation that he and listener are in. I sense ANGST coming lol.

Andrew's being totally reasonable and the listener is just being whiney and inconsiderate and demanding. Again. This is all annoyance directed at myself, since the listener is, after all, me. :/
