Seeds of Chaos is coming to Steam Early Access on January 31st!

Today is the day, everyone.

As mentioned in earlier posts, we have been planning to release on Steam, and the page is now live. The game will be available on the 31st of January for $19.99 or £15.49 (with a ten percent preorder discount currently in effect). It will contain all of the content up to the previous version, and our current plan is to update tri-annually (every 4 months), always to the version before the current  Patreon version, so the Patreon will always be ahead of Steam, and receive more regular updates. The steam version will also unfortunately have DRM, unlike the Patreon version, but the trade off for this is cool things like cloud saving, and (in a later update) achievements.

This is a big deal for us, and could be potentially life-changing for me, so as always I could use your help if you are willing to give it. Obviously, there's a huge amount of people who aren't familiar with the game, and Steam is a great way to introduce them to it. In order to sell well, we need people to see the page, so I would appreciate it if any of you were willing to do the following:

Visit the page - The more traffic we can direct to the game's store page, the more popular Steam will think the game is, and the more prominently it will be displayed (you'll need to be logged in as mentioned earlier).

Wishlist the game - Again, even if you don't intend to buy it, just wishlisting it really helps, because it makes Steam think the game is popular.

Leaving a review - If you do buy the game, please consider leaving a positive review. These really help, firstly in convincing people to buy the game, but also because the more positive the review ratio, the better the game is displayed using Steam's algorithm.

Spreading the word - Obviously, we need as many people as possible to see the game's store page, so sharing the link on any forums, discord servers, or social media platforms that you think might be interested would also really help us a lot. Also if you are a streamer, please consider playing the game.    

As always, thanks for everything. I'm really nervous about this, it could be great, but I've been burned about being optimistic about Seeds of Chaos many times in the past, so I'm trying to keep expectations low. Whatever happens though, we'll keep plugging away and putting out releases, as long as people keep wanting to play them. :)
