This might be the worst train of thought I've ever seen from a developer. its literally maybe 20 minutes of time at most for the artist to add and it adds so much more to a CG set that's its not even funny. Hopefully you at least consider expanding the 50% of Rowan content that's extremely disappointing art wise. As it stands it seems you care a lot more for everything else, despite it having "more scenes"

There appears to be a misunderstanding. A “CG” is a full Graphic of a scene. A “Variant” is a small modification of a “CG”. For example: The Tavern Harassment Scene has one “CG”, but 3 different variants. (I do not count the tit shot, since it’s simply a close in on a part of the CG. To call it a variant would be a stretch.) Cliohna first sex scene has two Cgs, with the first CG having two variants. What decides how many Cgs and variants a scene has? It varies. Ideally, there is incentive to write the scene in a way that will allow for a single position to cover the whole scene, therefore limiting yourself to one CG. For variants, it depends on the writing. Personally, I believe additional facial expressions complement the scene nicely, so I tend to request additional ones – this is why the Tavern harassment has 3 different expressions. I usually do not ask for the cum shot to be included, since it’s the end of the scene, and having it be present for 3 lines of text is usually not worth it. I needed one for the bath scene, since it has Alexia potentially licking the cum off, so there was benefit to it. As for the other scenes, I cannot say. All I know is this – every month we sit down and consider: “What content have we been neglecting recently?” “What characters are not getting the attention they deserve?” “What have the patreon backers been asking for?”. And that’s primarily how time and fund allocations are decided. I hope this has address your concerns at least partially. " Thats just not true though there's literally multiple Rowan scenes that are actually only 1CG, all of those have at least 2. You couldn't even be bothered to add a cumming CG for a lot of Rowans scenes, yet almost all the others do. Why does DriderxRo still not have a cumming CG? I don't know who your artist is, but there's something wrong here. Its much easier the take 5 scenes and add and make them 3 Cg's then it is to draw 7. Tavern Harasment has 4 Cg's, the rest all have more then 2. RoxTarish has 1, RoxSh has 1. You can't tell me that corners aren't being cut for Rowan when this is a reality. I mean why else would there be such a dependency between the amount of art (Number of images) each path has.

These people pay for the right to be part of the decision process, and it would be a great betrayal to ignore their will. History knows no shortage of game developers who turned their back on their fan bases, and it rarely ended well for them. As for the CG number disparity – the game has evolved a lot since its first release. We’ve introduced a lot of characters, and with it came more and more sex scenes. Oh, we might still do that for an important scene, or a scene the player is guaranteed to see, but most of the time, it’s better to stick to one CG. It’s not just Vanilla that is getting hit by this. You have to keep in mind, nobody on the team is pushing for scenes based on their personal preferences. We try to maintain a healthy balance of content, as well consult the players what they would like to see. Recently we were approached with a question about the next Cla-Min/Rowan scene, and since it was in the planning stage for a while now, I will likely write one for the next release. Is it easier for me to write it, because I like Cla-Min as a character, and like writing male/female scenes? Yes. Would I still write it even if that was not the case? Probably so. I wrote the Andras/Rowan dungeon scene despite not liking that kind of stuff myself. We’re professionals Dassath. Nobody is paying us to indulge ourselves. I hope I have addressed most of your concerns. Try to keep in mind, that we’re just a bunch of guys who want to delivery an epic sex game with a variety of different fetishes in play, and we’ve found people willing to help us make that dream a reality. I cannot express how glad I am for supporters that stuck with us for months and years now, despite the game still struggling in some areas (the skill system, ugh!). I hope that with time and hard work, we’ll be able to deliver them a product worth of their support.

I get that they vote for it, its ultimately something you let happen though, so it does fall back to you (Not you specifically). I do think that's its a good thing though, its a good way to reward people for donating as opposed to a paywall. However you can only take it so far. For example there's not many NTR focused western games in development currently, the list becomes even less with 2DCG, so anyone who's into that is going to attach themselves to your game, and with that come a lot of voting power, (same can be said with other niche fetishes) so there's a chance that you'll end up at the end of development with the only CG's left to finish being a load of lets say for the sake of argument "Rowan-centric" and at that point you'll have to spend months only commissioning the art for that, and I fear like that will lead to more cut corners like there already is in the Rowan scenes. Never got an answer to that btw, why does the NTR scenes usually have more images to them then Rowan's scenes?

Ah, so Rowan-centric hetero is closer to 48%. That is my bad. To be honest, I don’t know what “most people” want. I only know that it’s the backers that vote what sex-Cgs get drawn, so if you think they’re picking the wrong stuff, you can take it up with them. But your feedback on the general direction the game should take has been noted, and I will keep it in mind in the future.

You don't add the 14 to the 46, because it isn't "Rowan-centric" that's why I listed it as other. Most people want to see Rowan fuck a woman, not a green dick. Also the reason you came up with a higher % then me Is because I counted the total images, you just counted scenes, even then its not 60% though. The fact that a lot of Rowan scenes are 1 -2 cg, but there's multiple AlxAn that are like 8+ images, its pretty disgusting. Its clear your cutting corners for vanilla, but not NTR. I get it though, its something your probably a fan of, and your just adding vanilla for the clicks.

Of 96 total scenes (not counting futa or solo, hel's day off, the dance scene or the Greyhide threesome because it is straight, gay, and NTR, cancelling itself out): 46 are Rowan x woman 15 are gay 3 are Yuri (non-Alexia) 14 are a non-Rowan male x woman (non-Alexia - I'm pretty sure you counted these are NTR, they aren't) 18 are Alexia x another So as you can see, 46 + 14 equals 60, and 60 divided by 96 times 100 is 62.5%. So around sixty percent of the game is heterosexual, which is exactly what Rein said.

I had to go and extract the game because I thought the 60% was bullshit, it kinda is. In fact its more accurate reversed. Out of all the 283 pre-sex/sex images, 155 of the them are like the dude said Ntr bla bla. Ex XxRxA, RoxSkor, anything AlxAn. Rowan straight content is 103. Ex RoxTarish, which is a shame that, and RoxSh is only 1 CG, like wtf? Other sex content is 25. Ex DriderxOrc I excluded stuff like, Shaya Dance and rastedel battle. Is bullshit, Unless you are planning on filling in this mystery straight Rowan 60% with some Rowan only updates. there's almost half as much AlxAn scenes as there is for the MC. In fact there is almost as much NTR as there is straight content, and when you add the gay/futa its 50% more. By all means you do you, but you do care more about AlxAn then you do Rowan and her. You know the actual married couple. Next time you think about why your not gaining as much as you might, it might be because 90% of people aren't into 63% of the images. And to not pick sides "but If you don't like NTR/Gay/Futa there isn't anything left" is absolutely wrong. while only 37% is Rowan straight, its more then nothing. "There's more Hard Fetish content then vanilla." However is correct.

There is no shortage of hetero scenes.I have literally put in a new Rowan x Jezera two months ago, Rowan x BimboOrcess last month, and am putting in Rowan x Cliohna this month. Like, come on man.
