I'm torn. On the one hand I loved the previous sketch for its simplicity. On the other, I also love this painting's use of gold leaf for the halo and the outline, and the subtle shading of the purple skin vs the vanilla hair is just mouthwateringly delicious. They're both so great I almost can't decide which one is best :) Great work, Sommelier!
