News From the Six Realms #30 - Rastedel is Coming (and so is Rowan)

So, August was a bit of a mixed month. On the work front, everything went pretty well I thought, we managed to get the final Orciad release out on time, and it was our largest monthly release to date. It also featured some great content; in fact, Rein's work on the failed escape path is some of my favourite to date. Funding wise, we went up a bit, and then back down to where we started, and then got hit by wrongly attributed fraud issues again, so that is not great. Firstly, I apologize again to all of you who have this issue, unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it, and Patreon told us they had fixed this. If any of you are still having trouble, Hentaiwriter posted some advice here, which might help.

Soldiering on as always, the focus on this month's release will be bridging the gap between the Orciad and our start on the new Rastedel content. Rastedel is going to be our biggest narrative to date, as it serves as the conclusion of the first act of the game, which will see Rowan tasked with most tricky task yet - taking the city for his demonic masters. 

As a result, we've planned to use this month in order to prepare for the start of that story arc. There's a lot of new players and locations in Rastedel, and they require assets, and we'd also like to open with a decent chunk of content for you guys.  To that end, Keidi and Sommy will be spending this month, and next month, working on assets for the city. Winter will also be spending this month, and next, focusing on Rastedel content, so we can open with a decent sized introduction to that narrative as well.

What does that mean for the current month though? Don't worry, as while it probably won't be quite as large as last month, it will be a solid release as always. Winter has already written quite a bit before he moved on to Rastedel, including the continuation of Helayna's story line, and a debrief scene following the completion of the Orciad. Rein is working on a bunch of things as well, including some of the content that was featured in his Alexia poll, and Phoenix will be continuing to work on the Fey narrative (including an event with Keidi's dragon ogre sprite above).  We'll also have six new CGs for you guys as usual, including the four that won the last poll, and we'll be sharing these with the backers as they arrive as always.

That's all for today. We'll be revealing the new location art, and character sprites, later in the month, to give you a taste of what to expect from the city. We'll also be doing the CG poll, probably next week, and we've started to work on questions for a kink survey, as it was requested during the last survey, and it may see the light of day later in the month, if I have time to work on it. I've also got some pretty big news to announce, which I'm hoping will be ready in a week or two.

On a personal note, the last few months have been quite difficult for me, both work wise, and in my private life, but I'm really happy with how the game is shaping up. With the monthly releases, and the new writers, things are starting to move along at a nice clip, and I'm looking forward to seeing where things are going - first Rastedel, and then the rest of the six realms. I'd like to thank you all for your support, I honestly couldn't do it without you guys, and I hope you'll continue to enjoy the game for years to come.
