2017-05-01 10:52:22 +0000 UTC(Comment was eaten, trying to repost it) Amazing interview, and I think you really nailed it why I love this game so much: it uses sexual themes and scenes to advance plot and character development, not just throws it everywhere. This is way more intellegent and complicated way of builduing a story, but it really pays off. I personally tried some thought experiment: how would story play out if there is no sexual scenes (you actually can do that in game I think). And game still would be good, plot would still be engaging. But it would lose much not just because there is no porn. but because characters will look flatter. I mean. yes. we now Andras is evil bastard from dialogues. But exactly what kind of bastard: I think scene with Alexia shows this with surprising amount of detail. You really kind of don't know him fully until this moment. So that's one of ther highest praise to the game I can think of. Also, your comments about empowering were also very interesting and something I can agree with. And your mention of games you played. I'm glad you played Rance, since I used Sengoku Rance as one of examples how this game can be builded)
