Added 2017-03-23 13:07:38 +0000 UTCJust to let you know, I had a chat with DM and we've decided to add spying next instead of jobs. As he rightly pointed out, it is content that should be in the game now (as in, you can use it during the part of the game that is playable now) while the jobs stuff happens later (after the end of the next release), so it makes more sense to add it first.
So spying! For those of you who haven't seen the design doc, it is another way to take towns instead of conquering them, which requires available units and time instead of military points. Spies will also be able to be sent on missions, the chance of success of which will be determined by their level and skill. Building and maintaining a good network of spies will allow you to not only keep track of things going on across the six realms, but also influence them without having to be involved directly.
In the late April (backer, not public) release, we'll be adding the system, along with a new character stationed at the brothel who will handle your interaction with spying, new spying themed events, and an alternate version of capturing Raeve Keep if you use spying instead.

They'll have names, but not portraits as I can't afford that sort of thing at the moment. If funding picks up though, portraits are something I would definitely like to have. :)
