Version 0.2.04 - Happy Holidays!
Added 2016-12-23 15:28:48 +0000 UTCHere it is, a little earlier than planned. As usual, you'll have to start a new game. We are working on making checkpoints where it is safe to load old games upto, but it won't be sorted for a few more releases.
Release notes
- You can now play until the end of week 12
- Over 20 new events
- Building (throne room) and research (library) now available starting in week 4
- 6 new characters added (3 of which are optional)
- 2 new sex scenes (one MxM, and the game's first FxF)
- 3 CGs added to the Andras x Alexia scene
- Fancy new map GUI
- Placeholder river tiles replaced with proper ones
Known Issues
- Technically possible to run out of ruler events if everything goes wrong, recommended you build at least one building to lower the chance of this occuring (this will be sorted when more events are added next month)
- More missing art (need money, blah blah blah)
- Some event outcomes aren't implimented yet (will all be added for public release)

Hi, I can't seem to get the game to open on my Macbook Pro. After unzipping it just won't open. I'm not getting some kind of error message, there just doesn't seem to happen anything after I click open. The logo does appear for a very short time in the toolbar? (not sure what it's called) but it disappears almost immediately. I tried previous versions and it seems the last one I'm able to run is 0.1.03. (I hadn't tried any 0.2 versions yet, but I tried all today and the same problem occurs.) Any ideas what might be causing this or how I could solve this problem?

I still want to kill Andras with a passion, but between Jezz, the lovely librarian and the goblin cutey I think I can manage the wait. But eh... we do get to off Andras, right? XD Seriously though, a great release :)

2016-12-23 16:47:32 +0000 UTCI still find the disconnect between the "ruler" and "exploration" minigames and the story segments to be very jarring. To me, it doesn't make much sense for Rowan to have so much power over that household, at least so quickly, or for him to be so obedient given that they're holding his wife hostage. Especially odd is how he seems to have free enough contact with Alexia, that doesn't make much sense from a hostage perspective (usually isolation is one of the major tools of kidnappers). Perhaps it would make more sense for the lead-in to be a bit slower, and for the number of choices Rowan gets to make to be fewer. That makes sense both from a conservation of effort standpoint, and a story standpoint (why would they be giving him alot of choices to make?). Just my 2 cents.
