Progress Update

At the time of writing, the game has 250 patrons, which is a new milestone. It'll probaby drop below the minute I post this, but it is still very encouraging, and a step in the right direction toward being able to make the game I'd like to make for you guys and girls. So let's raise a glass to that number continuing to go upwards, and to you people getting a lot more smut as a result. :)
Moving on to the game itself, work is well underway for getting the next version out. DM has already done well over half the writing, and is currently working on the rest of the events needed for the release. While he's been doing that, I've been coding them into Ren'Py, ready to be added to the game. In terms of critical artwork, the only thing remaining is a sprite Keidi is currently working on, which should be finished this week. With that said, I'm aiming to get the new version out to the backers in time for Christmas.
So what is going to be in this release, I hear you ask. I can tell you that it will increase the amount of playable turns to 12 with around 30 possible events, add more narrative scenes explaining Rowan's new duties and what is expected of him, introduce 6 new characters (3 mandatory and 3 optional), as well as open up the two major castle mechanics - building and research. So quite a lot to look forward to. :)

2016-12-12 14:51:17 +0000 UTCPolls are coming, they are just hard to do when all the work I have to do is critical, leaving very little time for optional stuff. Art assets are sent when there's enough to justify sending them, which due to low funding isn't every month at the moment. There's been 5 packs sent so far, there'll be a sixth this month.
