Choice 1 - Rhaegar Targaryen was obsessed with prophecy, and saw Lyanna as a strong candidate to give him his third dragon. He really kidnapped her to grape, but things won't go Rhaegar's way.
Effects of this choice - Lyanna won't be seen as some dumb girl. MC and Lyanna will become great bedroom partners, and great friends. [Pretty much like what they are right now.]

Choice 2 - Rhaegar Targaryen was obsessed, but somehow seduced Lyanna with his charm. He really got married with her in secrecy, and they made love.
Effects of this choice - Since Lyanna is dumb girl who got swayed by the smooth prince, Wylis(MC), won't trust her that well. He won't be very attracted towards her, and maybe just shag her here and there. They'll be friends, but nothing special. No joking around, or banter.

Choice 3 - Rhaegar Targaryen was obsessed, but somehow seduced Lyanna with his charm. He really got married with her in secrecy, and they made love. BUT SHE DIES!
Effects of this choice - Lyanna dies. MC takes Jon Snow with him as his adopted kid, rather than Ned taking him in as a bastard.

So it would be a shame to make this one disappear, which has the potential to be one. I don't really know about the rape, she is a go-getter and funny adventurer. These are traits that make her adorable and I don't know if the story benefits from traumatizing her instead.

Although Rhaegar will kidnap her with that intention. But our 7 foot tall boy will save her. And also play a trick on Rhaegar while at it.

Wen Rhaegar goes to kidnap her she is with both Brandon and benjen and both get killed by the kingsguard with him, ser Arthur maybe? And Lyanna get wounded putting her i a coma the mc happens to stumble upon this mess and Wille trying so save Lyanna, Rhaegar and his knights escape that would be both a good reason to kick start the war and a motivation for the mc to move forward

Would have been great with such a "choice 4" where Rhaegar chose a different northern lady, like maybe Barbrey Dustin who is the lover of Brandon Stark? This way Brandon would still ride to King's Landing and his father after him and keep the story on course!

2025-04-21 20:22:50 +0000 UTCI'm just going to say that if Brandon dies in canon, ned dies at some point and benjen still joins the guard.... Winterfell would be lyanna's, typically winterfell and the north have not had a lady. In fact canonically there has never been a female ruler, but if wyllis manages to make friends and fame in the north he might be accepted as lord regent or lyanna's consort. The problem would be Robert, but well, something could happen to him, we could make the mannis king and that would be the end of it. Or Viserys/aegon, puppet king and wyllis could be on the regency council. He could become one of the most powerful lords in Westeros, tywin would be shit. He could even arrange a marriage for catelyn to some old lord of the north and then have her as his mistress.
