OK memes aside, we've opened our Bug Testing channels in Discord! Check it out if you're interested! We've got instruction for the Dev Console, general bug reporting etiquette, a current bug list, and a section for you to report your bugs!

Here's what we've been up to, starting with A Word from Vixel!

10/4 weekly report:

Last week I upgraded chapter select to allow chapter options to 'unlock' as players move through the story. This is important so folks don't accidentally skip ahead and miss out on Act 2 content once the public build is published! :}

Also added a meet-the-critters quest near the beginning of the game. (It happens right after getting the notebook from Scarlett.) This way we can introduce some of the critters outside Central Forest that players might not realize live nearby.

Made the monthly builds and have been fixing some bugs yall have reported! <3 Fixed another bug with Penny's perch interaction, and one causing part of a quest to remain unfinished during chapter select. Also been fighting with a bug in our 3rd party beat-syncing plugin that causes Dustin's attacks to go out of sync when we try to swap out the music... still looking for a fix!

Worked in the upgraded Unity project as well, rewriting a bunch of old code for quests and triggers around some new and improved designs. This part deals with loading conversation data and triggers from two different 3rd party plugins into a format that works with our quest manager and save system.

I've been working on some assets for the Unlock Screens! I've always wanted to add more fun visual here 'n there, and now we've got some time for that extra polish!
