She was exiled from the island of giants (the Giants are warriors, man eaters, got on the land to bring balance but ultimately were disgraced by the gods)
She got into a fight between some pirates and royal cargo, wanting to just eat and destroy, but got shot with a cannonball right between her eyes, her insides all mixed up with temporal amnesia, for long enough time to not go full berserk with humans, pirates won the fight and got her to their pirate island, they treated her very well, got her on their side so they can use her a weapon... wish she loves, once she got her memories back they agreed they would take her to their heist as part of the crew, so she could stop ships and eat everyone inside.
