Domination Desire Test Build V5

Hello everyone!

The time has finally come for the test release to drop. Sorry for the slight delay, but I underestimated the amount of bugs I'd need to squash to release this version, (additionally I had a failed upload yesterday night, thanks workupload). Be sure to read this in full to avoid confusion and potentially save me time answering questions. As the name suggests this release is only a test version and not the final state of the release, so things are still up to change/improve. Test version is standalone. Old saves should work with the release.

First of all let's start with what exactly is included in this version:

Two new enemies:

• Succubus Dreamwalker – can be found in Scattered Castle East Wing

• Night Fairy – can be found east of the Clearspring Village (temporary area)

New areas:

• Scattered Castle East Wing – To gain access get a quest from Biara in Scattered Castle South West Corridor

• Clearspring Village Area – Access triggered with an event after day 20

The update covers the 80% of the main questline for the update. The game will prompt you to save the game in the right time.

New content for existing NPCs

• Four new scenes for Leilah, triggered when asking her to cleanse the player.

• Ten new scenes with Mnemosyne triggered upon death and being drained. Mnemosyne's content can be also viewed with selecting Mnemosyne's Domain in the Dimensional rift portal

• Game Over scene for Mnemosyne (Give her the Orb at the start of the game)

• Liliett with redesigned scenes and appearance;

• Four scenes for Erelia, split across Clearspring Village questlines

New Side Characters:

• Baroness Ingrid Barrington, a merchant situated in the Clearspring Village

• Shyaris, alchemy trader located in the East Wing of Scattered Castle

New Skills:

• Five new skills exclusive to each weapon type

• Can be found in the dungeons, shops or given by NPCs. You can also purchase them in the Statue of Mnemosyne in the Dimensional Rift

New Features:

• Gold, Merchants and Home Vault: you can now find gold coins or valuable trinkets in chests. The gold coins can be used as currency. New merchants: Travelling Merchant in Home Area, Blacksmith, Misc Trader and Magic Trader in Clearspring Village. Gold can be stored in player home.

• Shovel: You can now purchase a shovel to dig up various treasures from dirt mounds.

• Corruption Mechanic and Fetish Value changes: Fetish Values are now capped to 50, with 100 for chosen fetishes. These values dictate the level of the Player Corruption, a permanent debuff. New item that's used to lower fetishes: Cleansing Incense

• Soul Points: Points that are used to replenish lost EXP points. You gain them additionally to the EXP with each fight. To use interact with the book in the player character room.

• Loot is now based on region.

What is not included yet, but will be either in finished update or another test version.

• Surrender options and Gallery for the new enemies

• New enemies in arcade mode

• Two dungeons in the Clearspring Village area: Clearspring Forest South, Renegade Outpost

• Three remaining scenes for Mnemosyne

• Defeat scene for Night Fairy, and event associated with it.

• Dialogue options, flavour texts, other details

Tips for testing purposes:

• Use #test-general or #test-bugs and troubleshooting in my Discord server, or any other test exclusive channels to communicate about the test version. If you are unable to sync your Discord account to Patreon, DM me on Discord and I'll grant you the role. Otherwise is causes confusion for non-testers and will require me to scour additional channels to potentially find some info.

• SAVE OFTEN! I cannot stress this enough. Saving often enables to recreate bugs and troubleshoot easier. Also, make you a harder prey for any bugs waiting around the corner.

• If you enocuter a bug, let me know. Be sure to include if you are playing on a fresh save or an old one. If you edited the save or used mTool, please specify.

• Don't treat the test save version as the one you will continue after the full release comes out. You may end up breaking your save.

• Be sure to leave feedback and suggestions.

I will try to release hotfix every few days depending on the bugs found. I'll try to upload more mirrors soon.
