Developer Update #6

Hi everyone!
Welcome to the Dev Update #6 which will focus on my progress on the new update for DD:B. Aside from doing some renders and mapping work in RPG MV, I have decided to implement some new features that cover some gameplay changes and quality of life additions. Apart from plot development, new enemies and scenes, I want to improve the overall experience of playing the game with each update.

One of the additions coming with the new update will be the Prayer skill, that can be learned from Leilah. Prayer is a skill with no cost, but with a high cooldown. When using this skill you can choose either a basic prayer and a special prayer. Basic prayer will lower the arousal and provide mp for the player. The special prayers provide a special status that can last until the player rests. Depending on the prayer this status can provide a protection from seduction moves or granting some additional light element damage to the player basic attacks. Special prayers have a limited daily use which starts at one special prayer per day.

As you can see on the screenshots above there was some slight cosmetic change to the UI. It can also show the level of the player to help keep track of it during the fights. Another important change is the status tooltip that shows a short description for each status the player has. It shows up when you hover over the player status tab or chosen enemy. This tooltip will also show Nemesis Passives.

Another small graphical change is the enemy level up/ player level drain indicators. From now on during the scenes the game will inform the player how many levels the enemy has gained during a scene and how many levels the player has lost as a result of it.

The last gameplay addition I want to mention in this dev update is the shrinking mechanic that will introduce an additional way to explore the dungeons and will compliment already existing shrinking mechanics in battles. The player will be able to use a certain item to shrink himself in order to access some previously blocked off areas. Being shrunk will also trigger some additional scenes with certain characters.

Apart from the changes/additions I was also doing some bugfixing and a slight balancing here and there. Some of the features here have been suggested by the community and for that I want to thank those who decided to contribute with their ideas. Keep them coming :).

Now that I've got you more or less up to speed, it's time for some screenshots of the upcoming scenes.

Also, love the giantess, and futa content. Dont really see it alot in games, absolutely addicted to this game so far. I know it might be difficult but it would be interesting to hit a multi-size scene with one of the fairys, but if they are all that size it wouldnt work. Essentially a normal size enemy with the fairy shrinking the mc then you would essentially have two giants just different sizes to play on the multi-enemy aspect.

I am certainly excited to see the shrinking mechanic integrated! I accidentally shrank in the obscure mansion and now my character is normal size but unfortunately i walk mega slow as a result 😂 like im still shrunken. But just running into that room and shrinking got me all excited for more to come! Figured I would join your patreon to keep up with the party!
