Brad here! I thought we'd kick off this month with a deeper look at the main character of Roshutsu, starting with some beautiful high-res art by our main 2D artist, NekuZ! This art of Rika was made as a style test for 2D depictions of the characters, and I think Neku really nailed it. It contrasts super well against V--R's equally cute, stylized, and sexy 3D model.

Background:

Originally from the countryside, Rika spent a lot of her childhood exploring the woods and wandering the hills. After her mother received a higher-paying job transfer, Rika was uprooted into the big city around her middle school years, effectively ending her outdoor explorations. Now as a 25 year old living on her own, she finds those old habits and wanderlust manifesting in new, exciting ways.
