Last week was a highly productive week! I managed to knock out both goals fairly quickly. They both required some substantial changes, but I managed to power through them quick. I was left with a fair bit of extra time to polish and make sure things worked well.
This week, I want to focus on reworking the orgasm levels and creating an AI director. The way orgasm levels work currently was only a placeholder to get something out there. The mechanic will be fleshed out a little bit more, with a higher level giving a larger orgasm for more points.
The second thing I want to accomplish this week is a new AI director to randomly spawn AI. Right now, there are four fixed NPCs (three on the lower level, one on the top) that randomly go to preset positions. I want more randomness to capture the "can be caught at any time" feeling.
I focus solely on the programming and technical side because that is my direct area of expertise. I have been working with an artist in the background working on a new player model. I estimate it will still be a few more weeks until she's ready to be revealed, but the process is going on.
I am also looking into working with another artist to redesign the UI. I want to make the UI look nicer than the default Unity boxes. I hope to have a new UI for the next release, however I don't want to make any guarantees this week, however I'm aiming for a new UI within the next two weeks.
