Patreon Show Drops for the Week of October 20

Hey gang, hope your weekend was fantastic! Let's start off today by wishing our Littlest Big Daddy, Steve Sajdak a very happy birthday! Read a fucking comic book and knock back some room temperature whiskey in his honor! Okay, big week of shows, let's see what's cracking in the WHMu:

Big day of shows tomorrow. First up on WHM, our 2025 Halloween Spooktacular continues with an episode exploring a real turd from the early-aughts, Thir13en Ghosts! That's right, the stupidly-titled William Castle remake with Shannon Elizabeth and Matthew Lillard! You can catch the ghost-related conversation on here commercial-free at the $8 tier & up!

Then later on Tuesday night, at 8pm/eastern, it's the October edition of our Top Tier video show, WHM After Dark! That's right, we'll be going live on Patreon tomorrow night to answer YOUR questions. These kinds of shows are so much fun and if September's episode was any indication, tomorrow night's gonna be a ton of fun! You can watch the show live (or get access to the audio-only edition that drops 24-48 hours later) on here at The Craven tier!

On Thursday we're dropping this month's Star Wars Gleep Glossary where we're learning as much as possible about a dude with a really impossible Star Wars name, Warmaster Tsavong Lah! You can hear us rip on this little freak on here at the $8 tier & up!

Friday, we're heading into the weekend with the October edition of our Star Trek recap show, The Nexus! This month, we're talking about two pretty decent episodes of Trek, TOS:TAS's "The Slaver Weapon," which refreshingly doesn't feature Kirk, and TNG's "The Mind's Eye," where Geordi gets turned into a Manchurian Candidate by Romulans! You can get in on the Trekkie fun on here at the $8 level & up!

That'll do it for this week, y'all! We hope this slew of shows can keep you laughing until we can loop back to the weekend once again! As always, we thank you all so much for continuing to be the kick-ass supporters that you are! Oh, and one final note, On-Screen Live will return on Monday, November 3rd at noon/eastern!

Have a great week,

Andrew, Chris, Eric & Steve

I am a low-key 13 Ghosts defender. I saw it in theaters w/ a GF who almost broke up with me over it - until she understood I didn't LIKE it per-say, I just thought it was an inoffensive way to spend a couple hours. I think Tony Shalhoub is a comforting presence (which explains his success on TV) and easy to relate to when he stays within his acting strengths. He was the focus of the movie only because he was a key producer if memory serves. Putting Lillard in front alongside Elizabeth would have made MUCH more sense. My biggest recommendation for 13 Ghosts is that it isn't scary, and this time of year even fraidycats need halloween movies too. It's easy to have on in the background while getting work done, just to look over whenever you hear Lillard's voice.

If I can ask this without sounding like I'm trying to get one over on you (which is impossible not to on the internet), how do two people "more or less" share the same birthday?

I didn't know Steve and my wife more or less share the same birthday. Happy birthday, BIG DADDY. I don't say this enough: WHM has been a huge mental-health benefit to me over the past almost 9 years. Thanks, for all you do, gentlemen. You have literally helped keep me sane through a lot of choppy waters on this big ole ocean voyage called life.
