2025-09-19 02:32:55 +0000 UTCThe back-to-back releases of Aliens and Pretty Woman has me *really* wishing for an episode on Working Girl (1988)! Directed by Mike Nichols! Sigourney as the villain! Harrison Ford as the shirtless hunk/love interest! Joan Cusack as the Jersey -in-the-80s-to-the-max BFF! Alec Baldwin as the hot-yet-skeezy ex! (Ok, Kevin Spacey snorting coke, watching porn, and sexually harrassing women in a limo? Holy yikes!) A killer theme song by Carly Simon! An ending that'll make you cry and cheer! And Melanie Griffith as Tess McGill is one of my top 3 favorite film characters!
