I will say, one extra layer to the hackneyed joke the movie makes about Denny's being an American institution *smash cut to Japanese customers*: I highly doubt this was intended when they shot the movie, but I can confirm that Denny's is huge in Japan. I went to one of them twice when I was out there last year, lmao. And of course it's better than American ones. Touch screen ordering, healthier options, self-serve drinks, etc etc. And no, this is not an ad for Denny's. I WISH. I could use the sponsorship.
