Patreon Show Drops for the Week of August 26
Added 2024-08-26 10:00:03 +0000 UTCHowdy, gang! Hope everyone had a delightful weekend— anyone check out The Crow? Blink Twice? What about Strange Darling? It was a pretty crowded week for new releases!
Anywho, as the summer is winding down, and with WHM Season 15 just a few weeks away, and our live coverage of TIFF happening on some primetime On-Screen Live specials in just a couple weeks, we, for now, still bask in the precious quiet that is our summer break. However! We do have some stuff dropping this week that we wanted to keep y'all aware of! Let's see what's happening in the WHMu this week:
First up tomorrow, on the Free Feed we're unlocking the WHM Vault once again to let fly our first ever episode of Once In A Lifetime where we covered, oh, happy day, the first outrageous Stalked by My Doctor movie! We know a lot of you folks have likely heard this one before as Walsh Tier subscribers, however, if you're a Patreon subscriber who's curious about OIAL and the Walsh Tier, feel free to have a listen to this one and see how it grabs you! And if you're subscribed here at the $8 level and up, you can hear this vault unlock AD-FREE on here— and if you have heard this episode before, we did record a new intro if you're interested in checking that out!
And then on Wednesday, we're dropping the sweaty, August edition of Animation Damnation! This month, it's a real "wait, are we on drugs?" situation as we find ourselves trying to talk through the first episode of the wildly confusing cartoon, Silverhawks! This episode of our longest-running non-WHM show will be available to listeners at the $3 level and up!
And of course, this week we also have our final Vault Unlock Thursday of the summer and we're going out with a really solid MELR0210! If any patrons on here are on the fence about that Walsh Tier or MELR0210, then episode #49 is a great entry and a really solid example of the show running on all cylinders. We cover Beverly Hills, 90210's "U4EA" where Brandon gets roofied and David gets wasted at a club, and also Melrose Place's "A Long Night's Journey" where Alison's Keith Saga takes a real dark turn! This will drop on the Free Feed Thursday morning, so non-Walsh subscribers can have a listen, and also feel free to share this free episode around to any people in your life who are known fans of primetime soap operas that aired on the Fox network in the 1990s!
That's gonna do it for this week! We hope everyone is settling into another fine week on this rock and as always, we thank you all for being the kick-ass Patreon supporters you are!
Take it easy,
Andrew, Chris, Eric & Steve

2024-08-26 15:24:41 +0000 UTCDamn that's a good one - so many good contenders. The ex-Catholic in me thinks of all Lifetime eps as saints, at the very least.

2024-08-26 13:11:11 +0000 UTCThe first Stalked By My Doctor is one piece of the Unholy Trinity that is Once In A Lifetime's best hits, along with Invisible Child and Hand that Rocks the Cradle, IMO.
