Surely the worst timeline would have the reactionary anti-woke versions of the crew discussed in the ep, the crew where Steve shows up to live shows wearing Star Woke: The Empire is Broke shirts (saw that one at a screening of Empire in May)

In fact, thanks to the Prequels, Lucas basically made it so Luke was taught by two Jedi who lied to his face repeatedly to cover up the fact they utterly beefed things with his father (and 'a certain point of view' only excuses just so much of that, Kenobi.)

I ended up liking it more than I expected because I've been mostly fatigued with SW shows. It took a few episodes but I was definitely all in once we started getting those few fight scenes. I think it really helped that they got a fresh take with a new fight chorographer that was inspired by Asian action cinema. I genuinely do not understand how so many people thrive off of just spewing hatred at every single new Star Wars thing and I'm glad you guys keep cool calm and collected about it.

2024-07-26 11:26:14 +0000 UTCI also found the time setting really interesting; if it is 100 yrs before Vader, and the Jedi ruled for a couple thousand yrs, this downfall and corruption of the Jedi in their last years of power is a welcome addition to the lore in my opinion. You are all right! People should stop being so precious about rules in a space fantasy not even set in our own galaxy. Love the show, cheers boys
