Along the way, we find out that Nichos was apparently pretty CUT, only got to study with Luke Skywalker at the Jedi Academy for a year before dropping out due to contracting a space STD, had his consciousness transferred into an artificial body, and then eventually had his soul sucked out into the force along with his lady friend's, to live forever in the nether space. Real dramatic stuff!
Gleep Glossary: A Star Wars Story is a show where the guys try to honor the history and legacy of Star Wars characters, most of whom we've been told don't matter anymore!

A little late to this one: I’m about ten years older than you guys, and I’d really recommend watching Jenny Nicholson’s video. (Watch it at 1.5x time to get through it quicker!) She’s both clever and smart as a cultural commentator, and I think her YouTube videos are really good. She uses the Star Wars video to make some great points about Disney’s overall penny-pinching. It’s a long watch, but I’d say it’s worth it.

I *also* am with you on your dislike of the Marvel universe. And it's also true that the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Epcot is the greatest amusement park I've ever been on and I had a preposterous amount of fun on it. Flock of Seagulls' I Ran was the song I pulled when I rode it...ridiculous!

Jenny Nicholson is one of the very few not shitty YouTubers so I, as a fellow old, find her very easy to watch, and as always she has a lot of interesting observations. Also quite funny in my opinion, but ymmv.
