Patreon Drops for the Week of June 3
Added 2024-06-03 10:00:04 +0000 UTCHoly smokes, folks, we are back and better than ever! Hope you had a nice, relaxing weekend— we certainly did, and we're ready to return to On-Screen Live, today at noon/eastern, so be sure not to miss our grand return to the live-streamed airwaves! We, of course, also have some audio-only shows dropping this week, so let's see what all is going down in the WHMu!
First up tomorrow, the Summer Blockbuster Extravaganza returns and has us talking about that time Robert Zemeckis really wanted to be Alfred Hitchcock, so he made the overly-long domestic thriller/ghost movie, What Lies Beneath! You can hear us discuss this film AD-FREE here on Patreon, starting at the $8 level!
Then on Friday, we're keeping the Zemeckis Train moving with this month's We ❤️ Movies episode where we share the love for Bobby Z's much-better film, Back to the Future III! Listen as Andrew comes full circle and admits publicly he's a BTTF 1-3-2 man now! This one will be available to our subscribers at the $5 level and up!
And that should do it! Presuming none of us are shot in the back over a matter of $80 (BTTF3 humor), we'll see you all just a little later today for the return of On-Screen Live, on our YouTube and Twitch channels, where we'll be talking Furiosa, the weekend box office, and more!
As always, we thank you all for continuing to be the amazing Patreon supporters you all are! We hope you dig this week's new shows!
Have a good one,
Andrew, Chris, Eric & Steve

2024-06-09 04:35:59 +0000 UTCThat song they play at the dance in BTTF3 haunts me to this day as an earworm. I can still hear that damn fiddle just playing in a loop in my head random mornings. It'll probably be the last sound in my head when I die lol

2024-06-03 20:02:34 +0000 UTCAlways felt you guys were a little harsh on part 3. It's an excellent pastiche of classic westerns and Silvestri always brings his A game to the set pieces.

2024-06-03 16:15:56 +0000 UTCI always had a hard time finding people who liked part 3 more than part 2. Wonder if they've changed their minds nearly 35 years later.

2024-06-03 14:50:59 +0000 UTC1-3-2 has always been MY ranking. My dad loved Westerns so we'd watch 3 together often 🥰

2024-06-03 13:37:21 +0000 UTCCan't wait. I'm a 1-3-2 man myself, but it's close.

2024-06-03 12:39:12 +0000 UTCWas happy to hear you guys were covering What Lies Beneath. I'd actually listened to a number of old episodes including where you'd first brought this one to as a stay tuned. Super excited for BTTF 3 though. Been hoping for that one for some time.

2024-06-03 12:24:18 +0000 UTCAwe yeah! Excellent! I was just giving your BTTF 1&2 episodes a relisten last week, looking forward to number 3!

2024-06-03 11:56:44 +0000 UTCI was so excited when I saw in this month's BDD that we're already at HP4: The Goblet of Ire-mentry! These are some of my favorite things you all have made--admittedly for the sheer schadenfreude of watching Eric struggle through the what-the-fuckery the films present. "Do these movies have any beanstalks in them?" and "Besides, a talking book from the 1300s told me the moon is made of cheese!" are lines for the ages. So glad you all had a wonderful time and made it back safely from the TX-To-step. Happy Monday, and don't forget to wear the blue!!

2024-06-03 10:55:27 +0000 UTCHad a hell of a hangover yesterday so decided to watch all three BTTF films. Just such a perfect way to spend a hangover Sunday! I'm re-listening to the BTTF 1 and 2 pods, and can't wait to hear you guys talk about 3.
