The catch is, it's usually in projects that aren't actively trying to sell on their cast list (i.e. The Spider-Verse movies, Studio Ghibli dubs.) When they're leading with the cast list, that's usually a pretty big warning sign.

Loved Tim Curry since Clue so I try to see his movies. I am a Huge Garfield fan. I grew up on Garfield and friends and all his specials. I refuse to watch this new one because they changed Garfield origin story. Plus not a Chris Pratt fan hate that he’s ruining Garfield for me.

I think a few folks have pointed out that that might have been one of the first major times that a celeb did a voice and it was just literally them instead of doing a character. And here we are now, 30 years later.
