2024-05-13 10:28:22 +0000 UTCMaybe this makes sense to other people here, but I don't really understand which characters knew Professor X was still alive. If the X-men knew, why did they all go along with Magneto when he showed up with Professor X's will? None of them but Rogue wanted him there; it seems to me they could really easily have just told Magneto that Xavier wasn't dead, so he hadn't inherited anything. I suppose because I didn't see the original series, I don't really understand why they had to keep Professor X being alive a secret in the first place. What would people do if they just said that he went into space with some alien race? So, I really don't get it. Bastion appeared in the comics in 1996, but he wasn't in too many stories. His big story was Operation Zero Tolerance, and in recent times he was the villain of a crossover event between the X-books called Second Coming. I also really love his vocal performance––I think it's the best acting I've heard in the series. Thanks WHM crew for an awesome episode!

They're going blazing fast...from Mag getting the school, storm losing powers, genosha genocide, X coming back to now, within 8-9 eps? on fox, this prob would've been at least 2-3 seasons worth of material..although we only prob had 1 filler ep this season, whereas a longer season would have more filler eps

I adored X-men the animated series as a kid, definitely was what got me into the property. I'm so excited to go through this new one with my four favorite podcasters although, to be fair, Erick, this bluesuit demands an accounting for the absence of pod in recent months. You and detective W may Report to the Safari Inn for a bean dinner and a proper bludgeoning, though not necessarily in that order! :P Love you guys, have a great time on tour. They also announced this week (or maybe it was just reported) that seasons 3 and 4 have been greenlit and will be produced back to back Also, I now need a shirt that says, "Magnets was right"

Cable saying "I tried hundreds of times and it never worked" is a crazy callback to *beep beep* "pLoT HoLe" from the first season. Cable shows up randomly for an ep on Genosha, I think it's Gambit who asks who he is and he says "the wild man of Borneo" and then runs off into the trees again. When he shows up later in the series they just don't acknowledge it.
