Also, a lil tidbit since you mentioned him: Jerec, the Dark Inquisitor assigned to watch over Thrawn, actually got some FMV screentime in the game Dark Forces 2 as the main bad dude being played by some ham-and-cheese actor. The game's so-so nowadays, but the cutscenes have a really campy, delightful charm that make them worth looking up if you've never seen 'em.

2023-11-23 23:15:35 +0000 UTCWhat I like about Thrawn is the way his character is designed feels reminiscent of the retro aesthetic of aliens from something like Buck Rogers. There’s even a guy colored blue just like him (from Buck Rogers), but without the red eyes!

No but seriously, when I was a young man they were my second concert ever attending, and the memory of that amazing show has stuck with me for almost 20 years. I became a concert fiend, going to 2-3 a month as a teenager, just trying to reach that high from Blue Man Group again.

I tried to read it as a kid but couldn't into it. My interests were more in the Corelia and Jedi Academy trilogies. I can't wait to give this, hour long!, gleep a listen! Don't forget to wear the blue!
