He thought this made them quite dangerous and in the old EU- he sent Greivous and a battalion of battle druids to eliminate every one of them

Really makes you wonder what the hell the Jedi were doing for a millennia if the most they figured out is how to do NBA jumps and remotely shove battle droids for their lunch money.
