The dreadful episode in question, "Treegasm," originally had no one laughing the night of April 12, 2010 and features incredibly flat gross-out gags, a real THUD joke about the Puerto Rican Day parade, puke-sex jokes, orgasm puns, a sentient penis, and hey, some pretty decent animation! PLUS: A lot of kvetching about St. Patrick's Day falling on the weekend this year!

2023-04-05 02:39:18 +0000 UTCi recommend you do jeff and some aliens. i would love to see your thoughts on topics such as being forced to be a serial killer to save the world, becoming a stand up comedian to pay for hospital bills, turning yourself into a sociopath to save your parent house, your childhood friend becomes stuffy in his old age so you give him super ecstasy and then have to make sure he doesn't cheat on his wife with underage girl, stop an alien invasion with semen, go undercover into a preteen sex ring to pull your niece out, this and much much more. outside of adult cartoons do invader zim that seems like it would be in your wheelhouse

The first couple seasons aged about as well as anything else from the early 00's, but the later seasons had the creators make sure they weren't needlessly punching down.

We talked about St Patty's, Family Guy, and DVD sales for 20 minutes. 2010 was a lot of bad edgelord self-aware eyerollery and this show is right in there, doesn't make for the best eps IMO. Nonsense like Equilibrium is good because it's so self-serious, this cartoon is just tedious

Another show that I think maybe plays in this same sandbox but has a plot and a point is Inside Job on Netflix. I’d be curious about the crew’s take on that show.

All the other towns around us missed out by holding theirs on the one day where it makes sense.
