How great is it to see Ewan McGregor slide back into a role that is far-and-away the best part of the prequels? Why did handsome Sung Kang have to be completely covered in makeup? Is Kenobi smelling like desert fish or whatever he's chopping up at work? And wow, it turns out if you distill the prequels into a 6-minute recap montage? Not too bad! PLUS: Finally! People going nuts on spice!

It's funny how they are so happy with the potential death of the grand inquisitor here. Myself knowing this is the same character from rebels I was sitting going well that's a pointless scene as I know he doesn't die till much later lol.

2022-06-05 00:15:47 +0000 UTCI did read the Kenobi book in prep for this, he has no idea Anakin is alive and he almost gets it wet but he is too stuck in his jedi ways. The book also give a great reason as to why they don't train the kids right off the bat. *spoiler alert* he never communes with Qui Gon but not forgotten, but I imagine they will do a Liam force ghost or just a voice.

And great analysis, its B+ for me right now too. The faster they get the kid back to Jimmy Smits so Kenobi can have his own peeping time the better π

Also it is fake drama for obi wan to find out Anakin is alive as darth vader. Canon is that Vader was traumatizing jedi day one after being mangled. Only a dufus couldnβt put two and two together which is lucus cannon
