2022-01-25 20:29:38 +0000 UTCAs someone that kinda loves the six Herbert Dune novels I found this movie to be sterile and devoid of most of the magic that the Dune universe has. Obviously that is just my opinion, its okey to like a movie :P Whoever listening to the episode there is a point where Cabin says "oh you should hear what Herbert said about women", and I'm curious to know what is he refering to, because I've never heard anything about Herbert making any statement of the sorts.

It also doesn't help that the theatre I saw it in was having projector issues and the sand worm and several parts of the desert scenes were imperceivable due to the dimness of the projection. And if Paul doesn't have the hots for his mom, I know I do.
