I liked her character in the Republic comics, former jedi driven mad by her precognition abilities, now hunting jedi. Think now she's just a bounty hunter that was part of the group boba felt joined as a kid.

They look like humans except they are all force sensitive and immortal and they have a pair of tentacles in their cheeks, one per cheek, face cheeks not ass cheeks, stay on target, and they use those tentacles to "drink" the life essence of other beings which they call "soup". Yeah. I think it was originally described as the victims luck rather than life force but who can remember that shit I read this book when I was a kid. The first one in the canon is from an early short story book filling out one shot characters from the first movie. He's the guy with the weird nose who is smoking from the hookah in the cantina. At first he wants to "drink" Obi Wan, but then he realizes he is a full jedi so he doesn't think he can make it happen, then he smells Luke and decides to play the long game and camp out at Jabbas waiting for a potential return. But when Han is released he realizes that Han had the tastiest smelling "soup" he had ever smelled and decided to go after him. I forget how the short story ends. I think they filled them out a bit more after the original short story and made them arch villains who "drink" whoever they want and are all hannibal lecter style enlightened sociopaths but I can't say I've read that material. Eric should have the book the first dude shows up in it's the Tales From Mos Eisley Cantina, and the short story itself is apparently called, no joke, "Soups On: The Pipe Smokers Tale". That whole book by the way is literally just somebody picking characters who were seen in one frame of the cantina scene and giving them a complex backstory that involves the main cast somehow. It's terrible fan wank garbage and I loved it when I was a kid.
