Back for some more ear training! Somebody asked what the benefit of doing ear training is. The main benefit is that, if you do this enough, you will gain the ability to be able to play whatever you hear in your head. So the next time you are trying to come up with a bass line, if you hear an idea in your head you will be able to play it immediately.
It also lets you figure out the bass lines for songs quickly without having to rely on tabs which are rarely 100% accurate, and increases your overall "music instincts".
