Burt Reynolds impression just sounds like bugs bunny chewing on a carrot to me.

Kureigu

So yeah Han shot first, but technically; only Han shot. One shot under the table at a guy threatening to kill or kidnap you, not a moral fault on Han. Should never have been altered.

William Kiskowski

I don't remember seeing Burt Reynolds in anything so your Burt Reynolds impressions just remind me of Norm McDonald

Otelia Finnen

Just subscribed to listen to your commentary on the original trilogy. I hope you have as good a line as you did on Jedi with, "he's more machine than man, that Jesus Christ".

Joeseph Smith

Appreciate the response. But still not sure the logistics.

Christian Gavey

I think they have smaller ships transporting them , otherwise we would have seen star destroyers in the sky, that's just my theory.

Antwine Miller

I have one film question for anyone who cares to answer. During the battle of Hoth, when everyone is getting ready or evacuating; the AT-ATs show up. My question, how do they get to the planet? Are they dropped? They don't fly obviously, so how do they incorporate them into battle?

Christian Gavey

Hi, I remember reading that Lo-Bot was a slave that was merged with a computer, causing the loss of the ability to speak, then some how ended up on Cloud City, working for Lando. Anyone else hear this version of his story ?

Catboyslim

"Shooting for Jodie Foster" might be a good name for the WHM podcast biography or album.

"Thanks for defending me Robert....I'm all choked up." - David Carradine's ghost

Dustin Martin

Come on guys. can we have a little class and lay off the Carradine suicide jokes.

Robert Young

Han is wearing Londos clothes it was his ship first. Han just found his closet. Han couldn't do a cape he is space trailer trash. .

Antwine Miller

The 3 hour WLMs has become the best part of the holiday season. I need a Robocop episode next year! I think Predator and Last Crusade would make great episodes too. I’d love to see some Bloodsport but I don’t think the guys share my love of early JCVD

Zach Fazio

I believe it is hinted at in a few old EU comics and novels, is Ozzel an idiot or a traitor, but it is more a fan theory than anything. I think the evidence is all there in ESB but the official line is he is just incompetent.

This was a delight. A bright spot in the holiday madness. I always felt Vader didn't kill The admiral at the end of the movie because it was the audience's first glimpse into his emotional conflict. He feels a small amount of relief that Luke escapes.

Alexander Farr

I like the retcon that Ozzel is a Rebel sympathiser and exits hyperspace late to give Hoth base a warning, knowing Vader was already suspicious of him and would kill him.

Jake Kroker

Cabin with an Everclear song lyric pull at 2:03ish- glad I’m still not the only person who remembers all the lyrics to “so much for the afterglow”!

Betsy Williams

I'm listening from Tennessee... Bwahahaha

Christopher French

That moment in the podcast you realize there's still an hour & thirty remaining! Thanks for the upload!

Jon Gossin

The Lego Star Wars games actually totally are the prequels but with "Sims talk" (sorta), and yeah it's a huge improvement.

Joanne

Fantastic episode. Empire and Jedi are my favorites of the franchise.

Ed Harris

Thanks guys for this new episode. I had a great time listening to it. Keep up your good work.

Sebastien Bourget

Fuckin’ Chris Cabin yelling as Al Pacino Yoda is the best thing ever. 🤣 “SOLIDARITY!” “SOLIDARITY!”

Paul

Al Pacino Yoda is my new favorite character. LMFAO!

I got at least one of those radio dramas in mp3 form thanks to Humble Bundle a couple years ago! Still haven't watched it... but the clip sounded good!

Bob Goodrich

I love you guys, every time i see a movie I've watch on here i get really excited because i always enjoy your jokes on the films. I want to say though that a lot of episode are hard to listen to because i cant pick a good volume for it in my car. I know that most of y’all are loud people with very boisterous laughs but i’m just putting it out there as my opinion. I know y’all have been doing this for a while so i know you are going to do it how you do. Just take it in mind and ill look forward to your next episode.

Ben-jamin

Very cool, looking forward to this.

Ed Harris

They actually made radio dramas for all three of the original films, and featured a pretty great cast including Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, John Lithgow, Brock Peters as Darth Vader, and David Alan Grier in an early role.

QB

As a loyal patreon and resident of a country infinitely more politically embarrassing than yours, I really needed some cheering up today. So thank you fine gentlemen, thank you.

Anthony Simon

Thank you. Just, thank you!

Alan Hoar

It's a Life Day miracle!

Graham Richardson

Never heard of it

Johnny Longy Ding Dongy

Absolute classic. Truth be told, Return was the first Star Wars movie I remember seeing, and I have more nostalgia for it and it's probably my favorite of the OG 3 because of that but Empire is epic and objectively the best of the OG 3...I think I might have seen this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwZRFA0cLaM before Empire so the ever classic reveal wasn't so secret.

Frank Grimes

I've always been a HUGE Star Wars geek, not too unlike Eric. Before I was old enough to realize the prequels were trash, I went through all the Illfrustrated Encyclopedias, read all the "Tales" books, devoured most of the novels up to the "New Jedi Order" series, of which I only got four deep. Nothing ever beat the Three Original flicks, however, and I'm looking forward to you guys looking back on this incredible trilogy.

Benjamin Badger

I am excited to hear this ep, as well as Return of The Jedi
