Then, over on TNG, the episode in question, "The Battle"—originally airing November 14th, 1987—features some lame bits including terrible Ferengi antagonists, a dumb headache-inducing ball, Data getting indignant with a child, and terrible, precocious Wesley Crusher saving the day!
