Then over to TNG and "The Last Outpost," where Picard & crew first encounter the worst alien race ever dreamed up, the Ferengi! And Data gets tricked by a stupid paper finger trap!
The Nexus is a We Hate Movies podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time; cover art by Felipe Sobreiro.

The book where Q figures into the TOS EP is "Q-Squared" by Peter David. It also features the character Trelaine from "The Squire of Gothos". It's an enjoyable read. John De Lancie does the audio book...though that version is, unfortunately, abridged. -_-

2017-01-04 02:19:13 +0000 UTCTOS SMOKES TNG this month. I think Last Outpost is WORSE then Code of Honor. COH is an embarassingly crap one off, but The Last Outpost RUINED a potentially good villain from the get go. TOS Where No Man Has Gone Before is an all time favorite of mine.
