You may or may not have known that I posted Patreon archives to Gumroad for a one-off fee. I didn't keep them updated tbh as it was a lot of work to compile them and make covers, but I have had to remove them as Gumroad have essentially banned all NSFW content.
This could be a big issue for your fave NSFW VAs as I know a fair few use Gumroad for sales, please support them if you can.
Patreon
Now to patreon. As you probably know I'm a fan of feet, latex and BDSM and Patreon seem to have just pushed through some policy changes that on the surface are good but could (probably will) be used to remove content.
Their new Consent rule requires showing of consent even in fictional/animated works. This is quite difficult without the model holding a sign or wearing a badge saying 'I consent', even then they are fucking fictional and by definition it is impossible for them to consent.
What is even worse is that if you say 'the model consents' and they determine that the image shows 'lack of consent' through it's content, they will deem you in violation of the rules. So for those of us who like that hot as fuck moment where a girl (or guy!) suffers through some foot canining to get to have that orgasm... Sucks for us I guess.
What does this mean?
Honestly I don't know. The Gumroad changes are happening. NSFW is dead there. The patreon changes, it remains to be seen.
I may tone down the BDSM content for now, I try to always have the model enjoying themselves but if I were to do a render set that included any form of corporal or predicament (which I love) I could run foul of their consent rule as there would likely be a render where the girl does not look like they are enjoying things as part of the 'whole' story.
Anyway. I wanted to give that update. I was going to say maybe I should have moved my content to Discord, but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
