Upcoming content + Plans
Added 2023-10-11 13:05:51 +0000 UTCWanted to make a small post about upcoming ideas/plans. I'm trying to be more active and post more info about what is going on.
I have a huge issue with thinking that posting random updates etc is pointless, but seeing other creators patreon content makes me realize I should post more.
This Week
Anyway. I am currently working on a small animation of the recent Tifa render. I really did not like how it looked in EEVEE, and it kept crashing when rendering, so I have gone with Cycles. Sadly that means I've had to reduce to 720p since even at that size it takes nearly 4 hours to render 24 frames.
It will hopefully be ready tomorrow. I'm planning to add sound using a voice pack, it's too small of a animation to hire a VA considering the costs.
Render as usual on Sunday. I don't have a plan for that one yet.
Future
The time needed to render out the animation has made me realize I need a GPU upgrade (my poor 2060 SUPER is crying), so I might add that as a Patreon goal*. I really appreciate all of your support and it will all go toward that goal.
EDIT: I am a massive dumbo and did not realize Patreon removed Goals which is kinda stoopid. I guess all I can do it maybe make a post later and pin it to let you all know how progress is going.
Gold Tier: Blend Files + Timelapse Videos
I am going to continue offering the Blend files for the time being, as well as the addition of the Timelapse videos. Those take a little while to make, I haven't edited in Davinci in a long time so it's taking a bit for me to relearn things, but I will try my best to make 1 or 2 each month.
