This is a 'pilot' of something that might become one of my main focuses in the future.

I'm seriously considering starting to work on a comedy comic, with a bit of romance, set in a school. And I need recommendations for comics and anime in this style, to get a little more inspiration. To be honest, my biggest difficulty is creating characters, especially girls. The first anime on my list to (re)watch are Baka to Test, Seto no Hanayome, Sket Dance, and School Rumble.

I'm still thinking about the ideal format for this comic, but I think I'll do something like 4-koma and strip comics (Garfield and stuff like that). It'll be easier to produce, partly because it doesn't require narrative continuity, and I think it will also work better commercially, since each page can be enjoyed individually. So, 4-koma recommendations are also very welcome.

If there's any kind of character you like (archetype, or specific character), please comment, maybe it can give me inspiration for more characters
