Hey my friends!
Story of my life, season 3 - episode 13

So, as you probably know by now, I've sold my house in Picardie (northern France) to move to Angers (center of France).
We wanted to rent a flat, to take the time to get used to the city, before buying a new house...

BUUUUUUTTTT...

My status forbids us from renting! It red-flags all the securities from the renting agencies and our applications are automatically rejected.
It's not a matter of money, just my legal status as a freelance artist that does that.
Needless to say it was quite the cold shower.

So, we reacted quickly and we started looking for a home to buy...

BUUUUUUUTTTTT...

The final signature for the selling of my current house has been moved to an earlier date then once planned. So instead of mid-June, it's set for early May...
We have April left to find a house and move... which is de-facto impossible as legal times in France takes a minimum of 2 months to fill in all the requested papers (once again, it ain't a money issue).

So, we're negotiating to push back the final signature to have a bit more time, but we'll have to rent an AIRBnB for a couple months while we finalize buying our new home (which we haven't found yet).

I'm fucking tired >_<'
Each step forward seem to be followed by 2 steps backward.

Anyway, let's stay positive (which, I admit, I'm having trouble doing lately) !

the "meh" news :
1 - I'm dead exhausted mentally. All this shits and set backs are taking their toll on me.
2 - Hence I'm dead slow to work. I will finish the monthly comic page today if all goes well but darn is it hard to focus.
3 - I'll have little time to do much work anyway this April and early May, as we have a house to buy and a move to do in urgency. I'm sorry for the delays that will ensue in delivering artworks, both commissions and site-related stuff.

the good news :
1 - We'll be in Angers sooner than planned !! x'D
2 - We're visiting houses early next week in Angers, let's hope we find something within our prices and to our liking. Based on the photos, there's 2 good candidates.
3 - As we won't rent for an extended period of time, that'll save us some long-term money.

Thanks again for your patience, I'm doing as much as I can, but I feel like I'm juggling with nitroglycerin bottles, while being drunk, walking a thin rope over a burning pit of lava, while being shot at... more or less
