I am a fan of this genre and this story...there are a few, and NTR Chat: My Girlfriend's Travel is in my top 3. I agree with your take on this and had a similar response for another phone-NTR/NTS based visual novel: For me the idea of someone having sex with my partner is exciting. That said, it also carries an immense amount to emotional weight that requires significant introspection and open communication with my partner. In the case of NTS there could be a point where something was agreed upon, yet when it happens or after it happens one or both of the partners is conflicted. They have this feeling as though something is wrong and the idea of it happening again is causing a significant strain on their mental well being. Boundaries must be set, but that doesn't mean they are the same each time and when it begins to feel like your losing the person you love, regardless of consent, it tears you up inside. If there was an instance where Elle and the MC had discussed something happening or it was something the MC was initially okay with and later it happened again, maybe with another person and the MC was not aware of it initially, then it could lead to the emotional roller-coaster I am trying to explain. Take it a step further and Elle is in a position to repeat something with someone and it has happened before without any issues and Elle loses a little control allowing something more to happen than was originally agreed upon which triggers a deeper and darker sense of betrayal for the MC - Elle feels guilty and tries to hide her actions from the MC and he finds out through an online post, or conversation. The MC then confronts Elle and she starts by deflecting or outright lying which increases the turmoil the MC is feeling. This could be where the NTS path could remain true NTS or spin off toward the NTR/Cheating path depending on how Elle responds to the MC's line of questioning. If asked direct, very specific questions about what happened, Elle eventually breaks down and admits her betrayal. The MC then has an opportunity to get as much detail as possible to determine the next step in their now tenuous relationship. Whereas, if the MC is a bit more circumspect and allows Elle to only give half-truths and continue with her deceit, it will move the needle toward more betrayal and cheating - this all offers opportunities to have our lovers make amends and gets Elle to do everything in her power to save their relationship OR it continues to erode the foundation of love and trust forcing Elle further and further into a corner with her sexual proclivities to a point where there is no turning back for her and no hope for the relationship to become any more than a dark place of acceptance for the MC and the exquisite shame and guilt Elle feels at losing her true love emotionally while continuing to feed her new found addiction to the physical pleasures of her own cravings for attention and wanton desire for something new. Regardless, if Elle tries to take too much and does anything without communicating with the MC and violates a prior agreement on how far it would go it immediately becomes a path into the NTR, and potentially Dark NTR. There is a physical aspect of the NTR/NTS and an emotional one that often seems to become white noise for the sake of the physical satisfaction of players who often fail to realize the depths of this type of personal story telling.

2025-08-12 17:53:29 +0000 UTCreally love this game, and i'm surprised it's SO much better than the marital one. the marital one has great visuals, but when the wife becomes a shameless slut so fast and with almost no coercion the plot just loses authenticity and thus interest. maybe i'm just not the target audience for it, but the slower burn of GF's travel (but still with just enough sexually charged content) is just an exponentially better experience. i hope GF's travel doesn't spiral and devolve into being a rushed version of marital. even as elle starts to experiment and get her much anticipated BBC (can't wait!), i hope there is some sort of regret, etc. so many games seem to give up realism/authenticity once the GF/wife has taken a meaningful step toward sluttieness/hotwifing/etc. her path doesn't need to be linear in its direction. just like real life, it can have bumps, retreats, and volatility. i know that was long, but hope you take it into consideration as the story develops! :)
